TFed has sent this message to the Orz: We are happy campers. Don't [bleep] with us or we will frumple and be forced to dance with you. That is all.

Lol. Btw, here's what I wrote for the TFed page: [hide]The Terran Federation is the largest empire in current known space, but not necessarily the most powerful. Constant war with other empires and civil unrest within its own empire have limited the Federation from ever bringing its full production power to might, but none the less it is a formidable faction. The Terran Federation has its roots back in Germany on Earth. Somewhere around 2020 a coup was staged in Germany, putting yet another dictator at the head of Germany. Tensions mounted in the world as Germany forcibly annexed the Czech Republic and Austria, as well as staging a minor war with Holland, the result of which was complete demilitarization of Holland's armies. During this time, there were several ongoing conflicts with the Russian Empire, which led to Germany mobilizing its armies again and marching through Poland to attack Russia. However, Russia and Germany had both been talking in secret with one another, so the armies met without bloodshed, and instead turned on most of Europe. So began World War 3. A decade or so later, almost all of Europe was under either German or Russian control, aside from Britannia, Bulgaria, and most of Scandinavia (excluding Denmark). Luxembourg's government shifted to its African countries. The next stage in the world was what could only be called another Age of Colonialism, with every country expanding its borders and gobbling up its neighbours, either through diplomatic or military conquest. Tensions rose over Germany's fast expansion yet again. The stage was set for more conflicts though, and soon enough a fourth world war was sparked. Germany was ready, though, and had prepared a labyrinth of defenses stretching all across the empire, the result being that no one wanted to commit troops to attacking, as it would be a horrendously costly affair. The war was brought to a close with a shaky treaty signed by Germany which stated it would not conquer any more countries through military might. Diplomatic conquest continued, until Germany (now known as Germania) controlled almost all of Europe, North Africa, and several lands and islands off the coast. Shortly after this conquest by diplomacy was complete, Findenland released a deadly virus in Germany, which prompted quick response from the German government. Realizing that the virus was not just a threat to Germania, other nations in the world sent their armies into Findenland to topple the regime that would create and utilize such a deadly virus. During the time that all of this conflict was going on, the Brazilian Empire, isloated from the hotbed regions of Europe and Asia, had been working together with the Norweigan governement on an interstellar program with the intent of colonizing other worlds and ensuring the survival of the human race. This project culminated with the establishment of human colonies on Mars and in the Alpha Centauri system. Soon enough, all eyes were cast upon space as the next frontier for expansion, and the race was on. Germania (now know as Europa, and now a authoritarian democracy) was not far behind the Brazilian's though, and a colonization team was sent many lightyears away to the Gisele system to colonize Gisele 581 D. The mission was succesful, and the star renamed Yggdrasil, after the Tree of Life in Nordic mythology, and Gisele 581 D to Midgard. Midgard would continue to flourish through the years, and project influence through that region of space. Other systems were promptly discovered, and began another race of colonization, with planets and entire systems being gobbled up by the rising powers back on Sol. With a far-flung empire stretching across space, Europa was re-named to the Terran Federation, and began its rapid colonization of systems in the lower quadrant of space. All was not well back on Earth, though. The two major alliances - The New World Order, and the Eurasian Alliance, were locked in a Cold War that had been going on for half a century, each one jockeying for position over the other, each one building more destructive tools and weapons to destroy the other. The Cold War culminated not as history had, though. With increasing economical pressures, the Russian Empire could not keep up with the industrial powerhouses of Germany, Britannia, and the Holy Empire. The Russian Empire collapsed in on itself, prompting the New World Order to rush troops into its lands to lay claim. The Terran Federation had its eyes set on Russia, though, and moved its troops into the Russian lands. However, this act was too much for an empire already stretched thin. Akin to its Russian allies, the Terran Federation collapsed and its worlds were thrown into anarchy. Hoping for the preservation of its lands and its people, TFed turned to the only other empire it could trust, since all its allies had deserted it; the Brazilian Empire. Brazil accepted its proposal, and sent aid and troops to assist the Federation in its time of need, taking temporary ownership of Federation lands. Greater Germania was reborn, though, the most loyal and die-hard region in the entire Federation, composing of the lands that were formerly Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, and Denmark. World War 5 had begun. It would be a conflict that would rage on for nearly 8 years, and cost the lives of hundreds of millions. At the end of it, and largely due to Brazilian help, the Federation and her ally arose victorious. The New World Order collapsed, Germania had its old lands and name restored, and many of the former NWO's most prominent members made the decision to evacuate their lands on Earth, rather than live on a world that would be heavily influenced by a nation that had been its enemy for decades. The past years have been peaceful, with each nation seemingly content with their position in the world, and the galaxy. A new threat linger though, a beast of immense power steamrolls to known space, and brings a new enemy. How will the next parts of this history be written? No one knows... [/hide]

How much PP does it take to build a sandwich, 'cause I think you're cheating there Arch. Btw I added a page for TFed to that site :P

Like a fireship. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Tyre A fireship was a pirate suicide ship, it was filled with black powder and set on fire before impact. And now you know where they got the idea from :)

"Oates, a member of Scotts team who knew he was dying and slowing down the teams progress, stepped outside their tent during a blizzard and said, I am just going outside and I may be some time. thus relieving the team of the burden of caring for him." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terra_Nova_Expedition

Oh wow, battleships are worth next to nothing. Alright well, I guess that sorta messes up my PP. I have enough to produce like...200 battleships a year. Yes, I think I'll do that.
-
Battleships, Heavy Battleship, Super Heavy? What are the actual classes?
-
Alright well, I guess I'll take the Netoi colony and 6th fleet. And Retech you have ships to defend with, since you got a sizeable chunk of Arch's fleet.
-
See now you're going to get everyone mad at me (madder than they already are I suppose :D). But, hey. You can be like the Androsynth.
-
No I didn't mean bugger off, I just meant that I'm a bit peeved about it.

Obviously I have. I am not an expert by any means. However if three or more people disagree with me, and no one agrees, then I will usually back down. For the most part I am unpleasantly surprised by the lack of response, like me saying I will build a million point space station and no one disagrees for two weeks and then they think that I might have invested some time in it so try to torch it. For the most part it is ignored until I assert my right to use it. I mean I could just invent a spreadsheet on a secret project.... Say I started a secret project tomorrow and two months time there was some crisis, but don't worry this was the crisis that my secret project was designed to deal with. And don't worry I have 9 more secret projects designed to deal with every issue there ever will be. The point is not whether I can run a good empire it is whether I can distinguish between me as a player and what I can get away with, and me as a moderator enforcing the rules and acting reasonably given my lack of information because people refuse to give it to me. So it boils down to do you want a War Judge or are you happy to scream it out amongst yourselves? And if you want a war judge then you need to furnish him/her with all the data that you think is necessary and accept that if you leave stuff out they will fill in the gaps based on random number generators. Or you need to tell me how I am supposed to fill in the gaps because, Dusty, what you basically don't get is that I am a moderator here to help you play your game because I was asked to help you play your game. If you are going to make my job harder by not telling me anything then I am not going to scurry around begging for scraps of information so you can power trip on denying the 'hired help' of all the tools they require, I will random number generate the results and you can deal with the fallout. Given the flexibility of the system, given the fact that I am willing to sacrifice hours of my life to make your life slightly more enjoyable(and if not yours then at least some of the people here), I don't think me asking you for your fleet size, which you should already have...so basically I am asking you to spent a minute copying and pasting some figures over....is extensively complicated. And if you have a problem with that then tell me and help me resolve that problems.... You know what I feel like, I feel like a guy who is being told that he is being sued for ordaining to ask someone if they want help carrying their shopping. That I am being put up on trial for asking people if there is anything I can do for them....That I am generally being punished for being exploited. By all means treat me the same as everyone else, argue with me, but don't try to make my life more difficult. I told you the size of my fleet, then you proceeded to say that since you hadn't "confirmed" it, it doesn't actually exist. Then you went into a big ol' sarcasm sharade saying that you created 50m ships. I think the main problem I have is that you're the moderator for the game - the person who decides the outcome of battles and the progression of the game, and you're a player. I've PM'd Doom the details on it so that she could update the front page at least half a dozen times in the past 4 or so months. I thought it was only me, Sere, Ross, and Grim that had nukes?
-
I'll allow the 2 regions start since you came in late but armies take 5 years to train no exceptions. There would be no defenses though (as per the setup of the game). You're don't have a region that borders on the sea, so building a harbour in the middle of the desert isn't really possible :P [hide=Regional Map T3][/hide]
-
You can quote Yes, Prime Minister all you want but it doesn't really change the fact that some of the stuff you've done has been ridiculous.
-
Everyone? Ha, like that'll ever happen. I'm not war judge, correct. I'm not Doom, correct. I don't need permission to keep track of the game though, that's what everyone does. I know you'd much rather that we were a bunch of slobbering idiots that went along with everything you say and do, but no thanks. Some of the stuff you have done and are doing is completely [bleep]ed up.
-
Ah yes, like million-point space stations and the like? I whole-heartedly agree. Actually, since I never confirmed that space station was there, it doesn't actually exist. Hm. -- Working on modifications to my bomb.
-
What? You don't think the size of my fleet is reasonable? Ha. Fine, if you want to dance this stupid little argument dance, 100m Federation ships have turned up at Adrigas, all with full crews.
-
Doesn't really matter if something doesn't "officially" exist (since when is your word official anyways?), it exists.
-
Um. No. -- And Sere how the hell do you "cloak" a system?
-
If their fleet is as large as you say it is Arch, then there's no way we can hold this giant solar-system spanning defensive line, since we don't have the ships for that.
-
ZOMBIES?! [bleep] it I'm going on the roof and getting drunk. Then, we they come up, I build a enclosure from the door to the roof, that leads to the edge of the building. Then we they come out I yell "THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAA" and kick them off. I'll set a timer to see how long I survive, and count how many zombies I kick to their (un)death.
-
My fleet is pulling back, but transports have been sent to evac all but the most die-hard colonists from the Federation's planets in the Sinabo system. Until someone gets rolling an alliance to deal with the alien invaders I won't throw my hat into this conflict, as I'd just be wasting ships. So, PM me when everyone is on the same page about dealing with this threat. Production on new ships continues.

3 Super Battleships 40 Heavy Battleships 80 Battleships 120 Carriers (which have had ion cannons added to them so they pack more of an offensive punch) 12,000 Fighters Maybe more, idk, I just made that up weeee. -- The colonies on Sinabo have converted their factories to churn out E2S fighters at alarming numbers, to help assist the Federation fleet when it arrives. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2G6auIFn5yc&feature=PlayList&p=1CD04928E73E3009&index=10 Actually I think the battle should be fought to this tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bQ-SpgzmWc&feature=PlayList&p=1CD04928E73E3009&index=20 :P Slay the dragon would be cool too... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1xOeH3W-14&feature=PlayList&p=1CD04928E73E3009&index=46 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLx7JvYsUWY&feature=PlayList&p=1CD04928E73E3009&index=86 [bleep] it I can't decide.
