  1. So silly that orange rooms can turn off orange rooms. Oh well. And obviously I'm not using my entire income each turn on drones, my people would starve then. But 33 + 33 + 34 = 100, so...it's not unreasonable to have 100 drones.
  2. My income /30 = 46 drones. Since we've been playing for 3 days now, 100 is a fair number of drones to have.
  3. Where did you get 100 drones from? Also the room is undefended so you capture it. I bought them. 23 red rooms = 1380 credits -200 for food. -80 for forcefields -100 for turrets. All the rest goes towards drone creation. I use my orange room to turn on the turbolift to deck G, and bring 50 of the drones back to deck E.
  4. Oh nice try batman! Charlie Fleet has been mobilized and is heading to the Tevan system.
  5. 100 Drones and 2 Biotics are sent down to deck G, when they get there 1 of the biotics overloads the rightmost barrier, and then the second overloads the turrets behind it, and everyone charges the room, clears out the defenders, and takes control of the room. Defend yourself Captain Bligh!
  6. Hmmmmm... I would prefer a more societal game, where we could build our empires, have random events occur, try to overcome them, work together to solve problems...ect ect. Hence why I like the idea of not have the free nations to conquer, they just generate tension which makes the game interesting by anti-climatic. I would be interesting to have societies of spandex wearers and bearskin wearers almost side by side. Probably not for everyone though =( But...but...then what would I do? That's an idea I had. For example, the outcome of WWII could have been different, and France, Italy, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, etc. could be part of the German Empire. Or the British Empire could be still intact, rather than being dismembered. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vv9fFCpusQc&feature=related It would be awesome if we could play as major world powers, and each major power could be ruled by multiple players. For example, in the alternate universe, a person could be part of the British Empire, but they rule a colony or whatever. Could be done like the Hearts of Iron Doomsday-Armageddon scenario, where there's like...19 super-powers in the world, I'll go find it somewhere. :P I don't mind starting over, but like Grim said I think this is more of a short lull.

  8. Oh great, now Ross is going to start quoting the Halo wiki.
  9. Those crystal monuments will look real nice when they're inevitably bombed to pieces. Midgard pop at 8b now.
  10. Claiming rooms, set up forcefields on the turbolift entrance/exits, and forcefields in the corridor leading to Pie's section. Also, Pie's crew is now cut off from its medical bay essentially, as the way to get to it is protected by forcefields, turrets, and drones.
  11. Don't worry, we're not destroying coffee.
  12. I'll assume my ships are back by now, so they'll continue moving asteroids into Yggdrasil's system, and hollowing them out to hold fighter squads and defensive turrets.
  13. Heh, KKK Alright, setting up forcefields on the turbolifts where my "crew" resides. As well as turrets in the corridors and in the entrance to the medical bay area.
  14. See I can never keep track of all this stuff :P Doesn't really matter though, as Mather never had a team on Haven. -- Project SW coming along. Project RD has been started, pumping around 1T into it per year (Bio/Genetics research). Shipyards in Holmgard will be complete soon. -- Also, TFed is tearing down religious sites across Earth (that aren't to do with Norse paganism). The people who aren't pagans have had enough time to assimilate within the Federation that there's unlikely to me much fuss. However, troops are on ready status to quell any sort of unrest.

  16. Hm maybe. I have a pirated version of Civ 4 so idk if I can play it online. Me and Paul are playing a Rome Total War hotseat right now too :P
  17. That makes no sense at all. A ship without armour and shields isn't denfenseless if it gets boarded. It still has its crew, its internal weapons and systems, its life support, its power, etc. 90% chance of taking over the ship is such a stupid percentage. And game balance? Boarding is useless. How many ships were boarded in WW2? Hell, even WW1?
  18. By boarding them? No, like you said, they have a modifier of 1000. YOu beat them by blowing them up. You can't insta-make super weapons either, Retech.
  19. What is with your recent fascination with boarding people's ships Retech?
  20. Boarding doesn't take place ship to ship. This isn't old pirate tactics of swinging from the masts on ropes to board the enemy ship, we're using transports to do it. Like rowboats. My ships have been designed to prevent or at the very least hinder enemy boarders from the very beginning.
  21. My race is ment to heal and help yours, I used five or six of my techs to help your's as well as making it defend your no matter if it likes you or not and you still say it is overpowered? Yes because I can heal myself just fine. And as Arch says, you're hogging space that you have no purpose using. And if someone wants to attack you, you'll just say "Oh harhar you killed 1 of my nanites, too bad I have billions more, and your weapons don't actually do anything, and my people have melted through the wall so I'm invincible *plugs ear* lalalalala can't hear you *posts stargate wiki*"
  22. You forgot to add the two medical rooms I have.
  23. Alright, I'm going to start this now before it gets out of hand. Mather, change your race. Yours is stupid and stupidly overpowered.
  24. *shrug* The article stated it shot at the speed of light when I read it last.
