  1. The world of food production isn't 3d though.
  2. If your virus gets released you realize I'll come for every world you have, right? -And 50 billion people? As Arch said, Japan had 5b people, 26% apparently evacuated, so that's 4b people. The logistics of having an army of 4b is...erm..implausible, to say the least. I was under the impression as well that we had moved away from the 60m troop attacks, since they were just stupid. Besides, if there were 50b people in Japan they would've been heavily malnourished and starving to death (not in the best fighting condition). The attack is on GAMEpause right now, so they can't build defenses and whatnot (this is just until Arch gets back and makes his decision). Lesser of two evils, Arch?
  3. I do a 360 on the swingset. WHAT NOW [bleep]ES
  4. Considering as well that I get 1200kg of Duna a year. -- The Terran Navy is bombarding the shores of Japan, its air force running strategic bombing missions on its infrastructure, and tactical bombers softening the beach landing zones. There is currently a 3-wave amphibious assault taking place with 800,000 soldiers, as well as a 300,000 strong orbital dropship attack in southern Japan. Due to the civil unrest, it's unlikely there will be much of a defending force. I intend to keep Japan after this is over. Serve as a slap on the wrist for threatening to virus bomb Earth. Also, 80% of my entire fleet is in Sol, so there are no Litch troops that can get onto the planet, that's a guarantee. Diplomacy would've been preferable in your case Retech. But, after Japan is taken hostilities will end, at least on my part.
  5. TFed is sending soldiers and Beta Fleet to the Litch homeworld. Military forces on Earth are also on alert, in case the Licht have any problems there as well. Also probably not a good idea to threaten biological warfare. The last person that did that got insta-destroyed by every player in the game.
  6. The host gets the bonuses? I thought it was whoever won? Offensive combat bonuses are good, as well as orbital attack bonuses.
  7. Good thing I knew in advance, it might screw up my chances if my people got shot, my people will be equiped with personal shields when they arrive. Oh you... I'm not too sure my people could actually be considered "human" anymore hehe. #-o
  8. I know exactly what fencing is. I used to fence myself. Also, you do not have "bred for fencing" athletes, don't be stupid.
  9. You can't compete with gigantic drones, sorry. No exosuits either. I hope you realize that training doesn't increase exponentially, there's a cap to how much a person (or in your case a "Jaffa") can lift without other modifications. - I have a feeling any of the strength (throwing, weightlifting) as well as the fencing are going to have the Federation for the winner. For fencing there are 3 different Praetorian guards that are competing, who have been trained with swords since birth (they use guns too! :P). Btw the stadium is gigantic, yes. Also, construction sites are off-limits to any foreign nationals, if they're found at one they will be shot without questions. The battlestations are also off-limits (obviously). There will be 20 Federation Battleships running space security, as well as Midgard's E2S Fighters. Route through the asteroid belt around Yggdrasil has been sent to participating governments, but the route changes every 5 years so don't think you now know it indefinitely.
  10. edit: Oh maybe I shouldn't make decisions regarding my empire while I'm plastered.
  11. Oh no I learned that lesson a long time ago Arch hehe.
  12. All are invited to bask in the glory of the Federation! :P It's from Beowulf, yes. I should probably purchase a programme such as Rosetta Stone and review some lessons every night. OT: Didn't realise that you were a Quebecer. :o OT2: By the way, what language is that phrase in your sig again? Heh, thought so. And you can get Rosetta Stone for free if you're willing to go the more seedy route. I lived in Quebec for 3 years, in Montreal (Verdun), I'm in Toronto now though. And my sig is Old Saxon, from Beowulf :P
  13. Is that from Beowulf? Also, try download a french language program from the internet (hmm) if you just want to freshen up on your French. That or move to Quebec for a year. We have good beer.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_French_words_and_phrases_used_by_English_speakers#C I do not draw where the line between genius and madness lies, I only push those I suspect towards it. Eh, consider it. TFed police and military are more then adequate to keep in line the people, keep that in mind.
  15. No. Soldiers for Britannia is a special case. I don't want any foreign soldiers on my land at all, this is just an extreme exception. How about in the general system restricted to transports (say 500 soldiers to keep your crazy people with umbrellas away from the athletes) Security is usually handled by the host country. + Crazy people get either shot or sent into the Steel Legion in Federation lands.
  16. Well, I don't remember much of it, so it must've been good :P

  17. No. Soldiers for Britannia is a special case. I don't want any foreign soldiers on my land at all, this is just an extreme exception.
  18. Yes well your citizens are a bunch of [kitties], so I'm not really surprised. But, regardless, TFed will allow 2000 Britannian soldiers to escort the Britannian empire's athletes through the duration of the game, as well as giving blind clearance to Britannian transport vessels that are being used for the athletes and the soldiers. - Btw it's not annual, it's every 4 years (depending on host). There are none. Ruling out genetic enhancements means I would have nobody to compete with. Rules will probably be hammered out within the next couple of games.
  19. No subs, obviously. And Equestrian is staying. If you can't ride a horse then you can't compete in that event. I didn't choose your race, but I am hosting the games.
  20. Precisely. You don't [bleep] with the space marines. I I'll do so tomorrow, when I am not so inebriated. Actually, yea: * Athletics * Basketball * Boxing * Canoeing * Cycling * Diving * Equestrian * Fencing * Football * Gymnastics * Handball * Hockey * Modern pentathlon * Polo * Rowing * Sailing * Shooting * Swimming * Water polo * Weightlifting * Wrestling -- Arch could probably do the rolls and whatnot for who would win (if you don't mind Arch). If not, I'll do them, it's no big deal.
  21. 4 years from now, then the hosting will pass to...let's say...Grim. So Malaysia will host next (if they have the facilities).
  22. Ah no brainwashing is necessary, I'm sure once they come to TFed they'll never want to leave. We're much more militaristic then you hehe. Thanks though :)
  23. They're inferior to my humans then. You say your humans are more physically fit than a people bred to be a living weapon, the perfect soldier, trained from the age of six in both hand-to-hand, ranged combat, whose bodies are under constant maintainance by a creature far genetically superior to us? Correct, that's exactly what I'm saying. Because: My humans have been genetically modified for that past 100 years to be the pen-ultimate humans weapons. Ridiculous resistance, incredible strength, amazing endurance, built in medical overlays to their clothing which function pretty much the exact same as your goaoulds or whatever they are, yes. + My people are trained from the age of sperm. Mather, there's no way your silly stargate Jaffa are better than my soldiers, who have been being improved with training and genetic/bio enhancements for the past 200 or some such years.
