I'm staying out of your and Retech's conflict, since both of your assisted Germania during the war. Ross: I think it's safe to say your fleet is pretty much decimated from the past war.
-
*shrug* Ross, you mind posting the stats for those two planets so I can add them to my list?

Belgian man was in a coma for 23 years... Or was he?

They're called Guy Fawkers now. Ah right, forgot about Colbert. -
Huh. How does this armour make it immune to mass based weapons AND 1/2 of energy weapons? Strange matter converts mass to more strange matter, essentially negating it. You'll have to ask Archi, because in all honesty, I'm a bit confused about it as well. Alright, well. I guess that Dirithanium is immune to all energy weapons and 1/2 mass based. And I don't think that's how strange matter works, but I don't really feel like arguing with Arch again, as it's a fairly pointless endeavor.

Huh. How does this armour make it immune to mass based weapons AND 1/2 of energy weapons? Rpg: Napta was Pieiseaten (Iceland), and his lands returned to me when he quit. Also, my growth rate is 40%, so I'd probably have expanded to those isles to the east by now.

This is what Midgard will look like once it's fully developed: [hide][/hide] It'll be one giant city, all food (other than fish) will come from off-world (Birfrost), so Midgard will be able to support a population of around 300b+ (it's 10x the size of Earth - Gisele 581 d, wiki it). :)

I'm fleshing out the rules for a new game, hopefully people will like it. I'll probably post it up sometime this week, once I iron out the kinks.

I draw Germania's flag on the piece of paper.

Negotiating for the ones that Ross alone owns. So any ones that are co-owned by Ross and another person I assume will just go to the other person. There's only two that are completely owned by Ross though. Also, the Federation Fleet is going to be changed around quite a bit, to give it a bigger punch in combat and eliminate some of the weaknesses that the past war has exposed in its design. I'll post more about that later.

Which reminds me, I'm going to be building a major space elevator on Midgard, as well as smaller ones on some of the more populated planets. I think we're in the Age of Industrialism now. So, the game's progression has gone from: Diplomacy, Expansionism, Colonialism, Conflict, Industrialism. Pretty much.

Couldn't help but say DUN DUN DUNNN out loud when I read the title. But, don't let those conservative nutjubs (or are they called teabaggers now? ha!) get a hold of this story, or they'll decry this as what socialized medicine will do. Anyways, the guy is most definitely insane now. -
Note to Arch: Most of the planets in Yggdrasil's system are real planets, and should have all the data needed on the wiki pages provided. Otherwise, if there's not enough data provided, just randomly generate it. Flag: System: Yggdrasil - 21 LY from Sol - Planet: Birfrost. The French thank you but are still quite pissed off at Aether for turning their cultural building into a giant weapon. Righto. I will buy them :) -- Also, Sere, how does Brittanae have 2b+ people? People were getting mad at me for a 60% growth rate, but that population would've been 100%+ growth rate.

Which reminds me I still have King John prisoner hehehe

Lovely method of capitol punishment youve got there. Dusty my offer still stands I would like to donate a prototype A-class walker as a statue for the entrance way (the thing is over 400 feet tall) and possibly as a part of the museum dedicated to malaysia... All donations are welcome, as otherwise I'd have to steal a walker! :P I'm just going to assume they're inert and their systems have been stripped for any sort of military tech that's donated to be put on display, so I'm not tempted to say I reverse-engineer'd it in a fit of gamerage. As per the transportation shortage: That's why I've pretty much halted military production :P Tbh I think I could probably produce the most stuff per year, considering I have the most developed planet other than Earth (Midgard), as well a sizeable chunk of the already hyper-developed homeplanet (ahem, Earth). I'll get to building cargo ships. And Retech, TFed stands for (the) Terran Federation. From what I can remember you wanted to enslave your entire population, chain them to production lines, and force feed them through tubes hahaha.
-
TFed is reborn :) Going through a sort of an industrial revolution right now. Huge building undertakings, most military production cut for a while. Here's what's being worked on: Birfrost: Farming World -Vertical Farms -Farm Sprays to increase yield -Arctic regions being planted with the plant species I developed a while back Midgard: Population World -Massive skyscrapers and whatnot (think Coruscant) -Will get most food from Birfrost Vanaheim: Mining world -Massive underground mines and whatnot -Supplies most of the Federation's raw materials -Reservations for the Warrs, though some are being relocated to other worlds to eliminate the possibility of their extinction 3 new space stations being constructed in Yggdrasil's system (military): -They'll be worth around 500k points in the new system, and will take around 20 years to build The 3 medical projects have been completed on Haven (from around 30-40 years ago), so all Hegemony members now have access to the cure for cancer, Alzheimers, and high cholesterol. Tyr: Research labs, scientific advances, etc Space hub is completed above Midgard, a massive structure that will server as the main marketplace for the surrounding sectors (Ohan, Yggdrasil, Nexetras, Bail, Emazotran). Building a museum on Earth that will be free to enter, with pieces from the history of the Hegemony (WW3, WW4, WW5, other conflicts, etc). Also, TFed has a bit of a weird political structure. It's a blend between a democracy and a dictatorship. The citizens elect who they want to be dictator for the next 10 years. If we're going by the Hearts of Iron political system, it would look like so:

I think Latino was the first, with his conscription of 100m troops lol.

Adrigas was destroyed.

No point. Every logical course of action you take will invoke an illogical counter from Arch, and he'll state the moons are still on the way. I imagine your plan would go something like this: Ross: "I fire 40 bursts of the Ares cannons at the 40 moons." Arch: "Alright, so you roll 1-50 nothing happens, 50-70 they miss, 70-80 they hit the moon, and 80-100 the Ares cannon blows itself up." Ross: "wat" Arch" "You rolled an 86. The moons continue on."
-
I for one will just ignore them, like we've done with everyone that's tried to destroy the Earth.
-
Yes, the asteroid belt which only has asteroids on one side of the system.... Anyway, moons of Jupiter, but I am gonna check via Celestia, anyone got any idea what year it is? I think the Chinese call it the Year of the Illogical Moons Map: http://www.esnips.com/doc/e48ee723-b080-4105-a1fa-4faa70e7f648/map1
-
Just ignore it Doom, there's not really any point in arguing about in since he'll just make up some other new technology to protect his moon battering rams.
-
None of the planets have moons... Also the .5 Light-year rule means that the violently accelerating non-existent moon is disintegrated before it reaches the defenseless non-existent planets moon. Also try to be specific in the future. AH, so that wasn't a moon it hit. Okay. One of your planets was destroyed then. Anyways, all moon-weapons have disappeared, due to my magic skills.
-
In other news, the moons heading for Earth mysteriously disappeared. Now, let's get back to playing.
-
One of the moons violently accelerated to unprecedented speeds, and managed to take out one of the planet's moons in Adrigas. The devastation on the native ecosystem is severe, and it is unlikely that the people on the planet will be able to survive for much longer. The other moons are on course and should arrive in 3 years as planned.
