  1. Because they're fragile things that can't just be dropped from orbit and have someone say "So long Planet!", it has to be placed carefully, calibrated, then detonated. Nevermind transporting the things, since they need special containers and all that jazz.
  2. I told them to fight to the death :(
  3. I assume most of it will return to Germania, considering France was part of the Federation for around 60-70 years. Hm. Germania update: Working on Sweedenizing the Sweeden military, to reduce the impact that a foreign nation holding land would hold. I think I have it pretty well here, considering Germania's religion (norse-paganism) will be accepted pretty readily (considering it was a religion that originated in Scandinavia). Preference is given to guard duties to norse-pagans, since there would have been residual religious effect of Sweeden being surrounded by pagan states (former TFed & Norway). Not really sure why the 600k troops would surrender without a fight. If they had no food they'd just suicide charge, as they were Terran's after all  I have a feeling the next round is going to be pretty interesting.
  4. Or if your name is Doom you can bomb your own civilians.... True enough. All war is based on deception.
  5. Depends on how suicidal the people are and if a sadistic bastard like me got some stealth hypersonic bombers... You can't really stealth something that's going that fast. And besides, bombing civilians is probably one of the stupidest strategic decisions ever, since all it does is get your enemies citizens more pissed off at you, and more willing to serve in the army to fight against you. Also, my anti-air defenses can shoot down hypersonic planes, I forgot. They were built to shoot down Jerusalem's FX994652 (or whatever they were...Talons!), so they'll do the trick fine enough with Malaysia's flying tin cans.
  6. It's not like people are out having parades during an air attack y'know.
  7. Flak works as well. Quite a cheap defense system against such expensive equipment too. I suppose Germania will dig up it's old flak cannons. ? I already control Luxembourg. You mean Kamino? Oh, and the surrounded Terran troops have this blasting on the loudspeakers when the defense starts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8XIW_jUa-k
  8. Anywho, production in Germania on Basilisk Artillery, heavy troop transports, fighter-interceptors, and tanks continues. I'm going to say that the shipyard is continuing to produce its quota of naval ships for Germania, despite being part of Brazil. Because Tunis wubs me. And Rocco, just because they've been trained at high altitudes doesn't make them any tougher in battles. At best, it'll mean they don't get tired quite as fast, but there's not really a fatigue system.

    H1N1 Vaccine

That's like saying: "I never leave my house because there's a chance a plane could fall on me while I'm out for a stroll!"
  10. Um, okay. How exactly are your 40 something odd ships able to transport 80 million drones? Because they take up so little space. Its like 0.5m^2, and the ships are essentially just huge boxes with an engine and stuff. Mather, when did you get drones? So, these 40 or so ships would need to be so ridiculously large that in order to defend them it would need thousands of weapon systems, so in actuality your ships probably cost more than normal ships.
  11. Give me an hour as well, and heh Doom, good thing you're on, I almost took over your turn for the round. Get on #hegemony as well lass.
  12. Um, okay. How exactly are your 40 something odd ships able to transport 80 million drones?
  13. Go to bed. By the way, what program did you use to draw your map? It looks way too good to have been drawn in Paint... You go to bed.

Stonehenge: Blocks were transported from ships over water, then wheeled there over chopped down trees Easter Island Heads: Rocks that were placed there and then carved Aztech/Egypt architectural similarities: Because we're an uncreative race when it comes to designing things that can't kill stuff. Bermuda Triangle: Large frequency of storms, as well as I think it was giant gas bubbles that form due to the shifting plates below Aztech calendar: Well, they were pretty bored since they didn't really have crusades to go on, so I guess they had to do something worthwhile with their time. Pyramid layout: Oh please. These people weren't apes, it's not like math was beyond their capacity. +1. Win. Lol, those are the obvious explanations... But what about the not so obvious ones...? God came down and gave man magical powers to build those things to piss off everyone else in the future who still don't know how they built those things. It all makes so much god damn sense I just don't even know what to do anymore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_razor
  15. Tbh the only news source I've been going to for a while now is Al Jezeera.
  16. I saw this in the paper today, made me do a double take. Makes you question what exactly the media's purpose today is, if they're spinning all this sensationalist garbage. Bah.

  20. That looks a lot like Alesia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Alesia /endrandomhistoricaltidbit Yes well, I would love to play M:TW2. Unfortunately, my computer would explode. So, I'm stuck with tossing people around with elephants and shooting ballistics through phalanxes. Oh, how will I cope?
