No. Corsica in real life is actually part of France. Maybe you're thinking of Sicily?

1 in 360,000,000,000 chance of being struck twice by lightning. That's cool. Leon starts a nuclear program with the goal of building a functional nuclear bomb in the next 50 years.

Because it doesn't matter what it was. If something can simply evaporate a full sized naval vessel in the blink of an eye then it's obviously overpowered and unrealistic for the medieval (you know, the one where people fought with swords and rode around on horses and had [cabbage]ty mud/thatch roofs?) era.

Ye Olde Hegemony
And yet it's already been proved that Archimedes silly death ray thing would never really work, and certainly wouldn't instantly evaporate a ship meant to put out fires (and thus has plenty of water in it).

Btw, these are two of the four rules of the game: So, I think Arch's instant ship killing lasers should be removed, considering we are playing MEDIEVAL hegemony. There's plenty of normal hegemony threads for that sort of sillines.

Anyways, Retech said that budget was reset, so opening moves! Wales raises a national army of: Army of Wales 5000 Welsh cavalry 5000 peasants 2000 Welsh longbowmen 2500 spearmen Total: 14,500 Leaving them with a remaining budget of 300k or so. So, they buy 2 galleys for their navy (lol). ----- Army de León is bolstered by more soldiers. Army de León 5000 peasants (halberds & leather armour) 2000 spearmen 4000 Archers 3000 Swordsmen 1000 Pikemen 1000 Elite pikemen 500 Men at Arms 3000 Spanish Jenites 500 Knights of Santiago Total: 20,000 men Treasury - 3.380m ----- And finally the Army of Navarre is raised: 10,000 peasants - 1m 4,000 spearmen - 1m 3,000 archers - 1.2m 2,000 skirmishers - 400k 4,000 swordsmen - 1.2m 2,000 Heavy horse archers - 1.4m 1,500 Men at Arms - 750k 1,000 Spanish knights 500 Knights of Santiago Total: 28,000 men Treasury -7m Spain's remaining treasury: 6.62m --- I am curious as to how my other 50,000 or so Spanish troops are doing in Kiev.

By what? You can't just say he has lasers.- The Back Room
Or from my character's perspective, who spent the majority of his time somewhere like .- Ye Olde Hegemony
Oi! Why would you destroy my boat that puts out fires. Sheesh. Spain sends another fireboat. This time a bigger one with mirrors on it.- Ye Olde Hegemony
Spain sends a fireboat towards the new port.- Ye Olde Hegemony
That's always your strategy! hehe- Ye Olde Hegemony
- Ye Olde Hegemony
*shrug* 70m then. 35m for the castles and fleet, 35m for the armies I've raised. That's completely reasonable.- Ye Olde Hegemony
So, if it's the 6th reset, then that means I've spent a total of around 80m (adjusted for the time when I was only León and had a budget of 10m). - Ye Olde Hegemony
