Look up : metal, A head bangers journey on youtube (tells about christians starting it!). There are christian Deathcore bands, With blood comes Cleansing... If your religion was forced to change, (If I were you, and more Violent, and less agnostic) I would burn the new church... P.s. In American Hardcore there is a Straightedge UU minister (Closest Punk Sub-genre to metal)!!!

The band Engineer's drummer doesn't use one, They aren't needed (Over used now days)I do have a Dw5000, but Even a pulse pro works OK (Musician's friend brand). Ps Bands look for a drummer who can keep a beat, and is Unique.

Drum on a pillow... cheap, and you have one (plus you learn stick control).

I'm just hyper, and straight edge... I might see job for a cowboy soon. Facepalm... If you want to learn to scream, then you might want to listen to REAL screaming, none of that emo garbage. Go listen to some real hardcore punk like Orchid, Siege, Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks etc. I do, check out Slap shot, The Freeze, and Ten Yard Fight, As much as I agree with Jello (besides I hating that company, He does have some good You tube videos) I Just don't like his sound.
