  1. Honestly, fixing the issues with EoC, and providing things like revolution is where they should focus their effort. I don't think Legacy mode will work out how they think it will.

Resolving the keybind issues, and fixing all the little places where enter-to-chat is not consistent. Stop randomly hiding action bar so that it doesn't let you do enter to chat.

Resolve the issues with keybinds not being fluid, and not responding quickly.

Resolve the issue that NIS canot be made to look like the old layout. Add abilities to move windows around in such a way that this works.

Pull out the windows that have sub-windows nad make them act like normal tabs, instead of tab within tab. Let us keybind those how we want.

Allow the old option-stones to be enabled.

Essentially, let players configure the current system to work the way they want. Don't just hack the legacy interface back in.

  2.

I mean that green fingers is like 30k marginal gp/hour. That's terrible. It isn't worth buying even if you do a ton of herb runs.

    30k gp/hr? Try 30k+ gp/herb run.

Going off of rough figures and my own experience, I get at least 3-4 extra herbs from greenfingers every herb run. At 10k per dwarf week, that's significant, much more so than 30k/hour.

Sure, Herb runs are only like 2.4m/hr now, but some people like skilling for money.

    Yeah I messed up :P

Still shouldn't be more than 500k gp/hour, which makes it a pretty bad choice

I am also curious how much better legendary is vs supreme, and how much would that upgrade be, since the cost of higher tier auras goes up faster than the improvement... There are definitely far better choices than greenfingerss. That said.. I got it anyways, since it's the only one I use on a regular basis.

The more skills you add to the formula, the less accurate it gets. It doesn't matter if someone is 99 magic and 75 ranged in PvP because they'll fight with magic, not ranged, so there's no need to put ranged in the formula.

what if someone use weapon swap?

Then they're going to have less power than their combat level suggests, so they wouldn't switch. Remember that we don't have special attack weapons anymore, so switching to a t(x-y) weapon from a tx weapon is kind of stupid. Of course, some abilities make things a little "interesting", such as conc blast making virtus wands about as good as drygores, but it'd be better to fix that than design the combat formula around it.

isn't lower lvl stronger than high lvl if low level use good combat style?

Technically yes, but not even close to a full tier difference.

  4. Warbands should not affect anyone`s achievements either, yet you imply they do.

Warbands devalues experience in skills. It does this because the achievments (lv99, 200m) are infinitely easier for everyone to get. SoF devalues XP to an extent, but it is less impactful because only people who have enough $$ can buy that amount of XP. Warbands is a repeatable activity that anyone in game can participate in. This has essentially reduced the value of all other content that creates XP in those skills.

  5. Their ETA and promises are usually bad but were more so for the 2nd half of 2013. I believe the RS3/HTML5 and EoC slipups have cost a lot of development time, and they weren't properly budgeted for failure. These slip-ups (EoC because of how much they kept re-working everything beginning of 2013, and then Rs3/HTML5 for so much delay and also requested changes after the fact

  6. Thanks for posting this, it is a good reminder as I already had forgotten they were coming tonight. I will make sure to get this bonus XP done sooner rather than later so I don't forget again.

    Thanks Again!

You don't even need to "finish it" since it now all goes to a giant pool of bonus xp. Just click the boots/gloves and choose the skill, you will automatically have the remaining bonus xp added no need to actually use it up :)

I am really enjoying the bonus xp changes, it is a lot more convenient than before.

  7. vote will be about as one sided as this war though :P

But everyone's gonna be on the wrong side :(

If Elf City wins, Invention will be delayed a bit..

If Invention wins, Elf City will be relegated back into it's special level of development hell never to return.
