  1. Ok, I tested RivaTuner and during Oblivion it runs mostly between 80c and 100c. When the colour distortion started it remained relatively the same.
  2. Well, say if it was yellow then it would go purple and colours aren't being displayed properly and in Oblivion the oblivion gates are grey and pink. Everying is smooth and nice but it's all the wrong colour. I'm using Forceware 97.92 for WinXP. I'll check Rivatuner when it's done later today. Thanks
  3. United States, too many big buildings and people. Europe, too expensive and cold Asia, too many big buildings and people Sydney, trust me, you don't want to live there Africa, too hot, most governments are corrupt. Hmmm... I don't seem to like anywhere...
  4. Ok, well when I play the colour looks distorted. The colours look all weird, when I take a screenshot it appears totally fine. This is very weird. My (new) PC: Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2GB Corsair PC-6400 RAM Sparkle 8800GTX 500W Generic Power Supply Samsung 204B Monitor I tried Oblivion on another computer with the same monitor but it looks fine. This is really strange. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks.
  5. Windows XP Pro on main computer Windows XP MCE on new computer and Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs on some old Pentium Pro (OMG) PC Why Windows? It works
  6. LA sounds better, I loath cold weather and I heard NY is all old and run down. Kinglake owns!
  7. The new comp's case is a CM Stacker 830 I think and the power supply hole is at the top, Thanks everyone for all your help and advice. :D
  8. Would a Hiper Type R 730W be good? And, is Hiper a good PSU brand? I just wanna be sure so nothing stuffs up. :D Thank you
  9. Darn, I called them and they said I would have to pay a lot of money for a new Power Supply, but it wasn't the world's best it was just some random unknown brand. Power isn't really my strong point so could anyone recommened a good power supply that can run a 8800GTX? Thank you. :D BTW I didn't even know that little switch existed.
  10. Today I woke up and picked up my parcle from the local post office. My new computer, w00t! So ran home, took it out of the box and plugged it in. Made all the connections and flicked on the switch at the back of the power supply. And BANG! something blew up. I notice the switch at the back says "115V" (In Australia we use 240V) and I rip out the cable and switch it to 240V then plug it back in. It's not turning on...I bet something is wrong with the power supply. I hope that it hasn't fried the machine. It cost me a lot of money. Is there anything I can do? Please!
  11. I used to love that...until I got sick, I just scares me now.
  12. Elfen Lied and Naruto FTW! Oh yeah, .hack//sign and Bleach
  13. Thanks a lot, Those peeps at Notebook Review helped me a lot. Thanks again everybody.
  14. Oh, I've been wondering what IIRC was, I thought it was that chat program. I went to Alienware its so expensive but the PC look good. I wonder if Pioneer Computers is any good. I've looked at a few Dell's and They are a bit expensive. I heard a 7900GS is about the desktop equivalent to a 7600GS and a 7950GTX is equiv. to a 7950GT, is this true? Has anyone had experience with laptop graphics. Because I'm unsure. Thanks,
  15. I think you can get 7950GTX's at this place: url]http://www.pioneercomputers.com.au/products/configure.asp?c1=3&c2=15&id=1688[/url] But I'm not sure what I should get, the Dell sounds good, is it an Inspiron 9400? And btw, what does IIRC stand for  Thanks,

  17. Hello! I'm looking for a mid-high end laptop around $3000(A$3800). Minimum requirements for it: 17" Screen at 1680x1050 or 1920x1200 resolution 7900GTX/7950GTX GPU T7200 Core 2 Duo Processor 2GB DDR2 RAM at least 60GB 5,400/7,200RPM SATA HDD Dual Layer DVD writer PC Card and/or Express Card slot And battery that will last over an hour and battery avaliable. Preferably not NewEgg, because they don't deliver to countries other than the US. Thanks heaps.
  18. Yeah, when I'm the only one on the network the ping times are around 450-550ms, When my sister and dad and everyone else is on, I wouldn't think of touching the Internet. Darn, I thought there would be a way out of it, ping times seem to get better at night time, maybe I'll just go on at night... Thanks anyway.
  19. Diminished2b, where did you get that 7950GT? That's sssssssoooooooooooo cheap for Australia. Anyway, the cheapest 7900GT I could find was $350. But I found a 7600GT for $183 at my favourite shop. http://www.stonebridgecomputing.com.au/catalog/xpertvision-gf-7600gt-256mb-128bit-ddr3-dual-link-dvi-vga-tv-out-pci-express-x16-interface-fan-sli-ready-p-3417.html
  20. RUnescape has been lagging for me so I went to investigate why. In the end I found out that my ping time is horribly slow. I use Telstra BigPond ADSL at 1.5Mbps. My ping time has always been 500ms+ to Microsoft.com and a lot of requests time out. My computer is in a home network of 5 desktops and 2 laptops. My computer is connected to the router via Gigabit ethernet through a 8-port Linksys 10/100/1000 switch. Is there any way of making my ping time faster? There are no other Broadband suppliers except Telstra where I live. I live near Melbourne, Australia

  22. My case is a Cooler Master Centurion 534 silver. Well I used to have a Seagate 500GB drive but I dropped it and it smashed. Lol, that PSU is nice but on the box for the 8800GTX it recommends a 750W PSU (OMG!). But one problem, NewEgg doesn't deliver overseas. So maybe I'll see if I can get the same thing somewhere else. What about this one: http://www.nintek.com.au/x/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=7677 Antec TruePower Trio 650W $225.00AU/$175US
  23. Hey everyone, I'm going to buy a new 8800GTX GFX card and Asus P5N32-E SLI Mobo for my PC, but my power supply is only 430W (Came with my case). Here is what else I have in my PC: Core 2 Duo E6700 Asus P5N-SLI 2x Pioneer DVD+-RW Drive DVico Dual Digital Tuner Sound Blaster X-Fi Platnum 2x WD Raptor 150GB 10,000RPM and I was wondering if I would need a new PSU, and if I did which one I should get. MY budget is about $175USD
  24. Thanks JoeDaStudd, It's just I've been using Intel since 386... So what does everyone think of this? Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Asus P5L-1394 Seagate Barracuda 320GB SATA2 16MB HDD Pioneer 16x/8x DVD+-RW G.Skill 1GBx2 PC-5400 RAM BenQ 19" FP92W Widescreen Gigabyte Radeon X1950Pro Cooler Master Centurion 531 380W Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite Logitech r-20 2.1 Speakers XP MCE+Remote $1955
  25. I don't think she will be OC'ing, I OC'ed one of my processors and it, well, got a bit too hot. Ok, those configurations are interesting, but I haven't used AMD or ATi before, my sister hasn't either. I have a E6700 and 7900GTX. Would a Gigabyte X1950Pro Be ok? And also, Does anyone know a cheaper alternative for the P5N-SLI I picked it straight out of my head because I have one, my sister doesn't need SLi?
