Will try that soon, do you think the sound helps or should I stick to the animation. Another thing that confuses me is his mage attack. Especially the animation when he is being attacked looks exactly like when he is doing his mage attack and I get confused switch prayers when i shouldnt have.

I just cant seem to beat Jad, reached up to the healers 4 times and whenever I am trying to attack all of them to get them on me. I end up dying because I forget to switch prayers in time. I am nearly flawless in the caves untill I get to the healers. Do you guys have any tips that can help me? I have heard that the sound helps but I so far I have only used to the animation and my sound was off. I just dont know how to properly switch prayers and have time to attack the healers before they heal jad fully. So please any help is appreciated a lot. Thanks! Another thing I have a problem is when I cant see Jad when he spawns and he ends up hitting me with a massive damage when his magic attack while I have range prayer on. Any help on that?

Oh yes I forgot, sorry used accumulator not the Obby cape and I will get the granite shield soon. And I will also get rid of super restore and add a ranged potion. Thank you to everyone for the help. Just need to get the pray switching right now.

Well today was my first run at the Caves and I ended up dying immediately to Jad my messing up the pray switching. So based on my results, I need help from you guys to improve my inventory/equipment. Veracs Helm Obsidian Cape Archers Ring Ranger Boots Dragon sq shield Karils top Veracs Skirt Rune Crossbow (1200 emerals bolts), (150 diamond bolts for Jad) Here is my inventory 17 Super Restores--------(4 left when I died to Jad) 8 Saradomin Brews-------(1 Left when I faced Jad) 2 Range Potions-------(Only one dose left at the end and I limited using them towards the end because I wanted to use last one on Jad) So my question is how do I improve this inventory, I know that I was clearly lacking range pots, my brews were fine I felt as I messed up twice by forgetting to put magic prayer on and got hit 47 and 43. So maybe by avoiding that I would have saved some brews. So my question to you guys is should I sacrifice a super restore potion, so include in another range potion. I believe there is guide in AOW for Barrows for Lower levels, you may want to check that out.

From the looks of his sig, he already has a main character and just wants to use a pure to take a break, which is very understandable. So just because high level pures are dead doesnt mean he cannot still be successful with an f2p lower bounty hunter crater. He probably just wants to take a break, so dont hate. ;) Your best option is to make a lower bounty hunter pure, with range as your main skill. I believe there is a guide somewhere is Graveyard Help and Advice where people more experienced can help you out. Whatever you do, dont train prayer or defence yet. Untill you know what you are doing that is. Good luck with your pure. And to actually answer your question go with the combat pure. I have never seen the point of being skiller, when you can simply skill on your main. Pures on the other hand you can have some fun in lower crater.

Maging aviansies is more reliable than irons, but they don't have any big drops. So if you have terrible luck at metals like I do, aviansies are better. So is this better than alching? Because I am doing that right now. :?

I dont think this is hijacking but since I am trying to get the same goal, I hope people can answer whether this is the best way to get mage up, while not costing too much as well. So is this method better than say alching. I believe the original poster asked a similar question but nobody has replied to it yet. Use super attack and super strength potions and you should do quite well at skeles, I believe there was guide somewhere around here. You should consider using it, I believe it is in the "Player Made Guides" section. I heard that bandits are really good too but I have never tried that spot so dont know much about it.

I have decided to get 70 prayer for piety and for blessing graves. I know that a Gilded Altar would be my best option, so I bought all the bones that I needed but since this is my first time I am going to be using one I still have a lot of questions. I will be using the RSOF to search for people who are advertising their gilded altars. 1) What are burners and how do I use them? 2) Do I have to bring any other items (except the bones of course)? 3) Do people require payment for the use of their gilded altars? 4) Can I continue to use an altar if a player is offline? 5) How much time will I spend (approximately) burying 1.6k dragon bones? I believe that is all, if you have any tips for me, I will accept them too. My questions are (hopefully) fairly straight forward to anyone that has used a gilded altar. It is a place near Port Phasmystus that a ghost named Necrovarus and his desciples run. The history of it is known in the Ghost Ahoy quest. In the middle of the structure there is a fountain like place which is called Ectofuctus. It is useful for prayer experience, first you will need buckets, fill them up with slime at the bottom of the structure. Then use your bones on the machine upstairs with pots in your inventory. Then worship the ectofuctus with buckets of slime and pots of powdered bones to get bonus prayer experience. If you talk to the disciples you can also get ecto-tokens, used in a number of quests. I hope all this info is correct.

Dont train at monkey guards if you arent using dharoaks. I would do the dt skeles if I were you.

Mining Iron, Cutting Yews are a couple of the best ways. Other than that you can do air running. Not many ways to make money in f2p now that merchanting is gone.

I tried that when I was around level 30 agility, didnt work out at all. I remember getting so frustrated when I was pretty close to getting a ticket and was a fraction bit late. :lol:

Go and talk to the guy in fist of guthix who gives out the rewards. I remember him uncharging my rune beserker shield when I found out you need 45 def to wear not 40 on my pure. And I believe you need to die and they need to drop for them to uncharge. But use the other way, you will find out it is much better. I believe you need to talk and choose the option of asking him to uncharge.

I think you should beat the quests and get it, since you said its very expensive a trip(and it is). Without a accumulator you will have to take like 2-3k bolts, since you can just use 1k.... You can get guthix book too, which is very cheap (like 60-80k full book) and bonus stats are a bit worst then zammy, so get it for more pray bonus, since you will have to pray almost all waves :geek: Thanks lol I wish i had asked first before going out and buying all the stuff. #-o Either way I am going to try your way, so thanks :)

Ok the only problem is I havent done all of the quests and cant use Zammy book or Accumulator :wall:. But I will upgrade my equipment like you said.
