  1. What do you mean "hard to view"? They are thumbnails, you click on them they get bigger...
  2. A short summary with pictures of when Merci met Suzi (and no there were no "excited" noises made during any meals in restaurants) :D Suzis comments are all in pink. Day One: Monday 29th October ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ The arrival of the Sims-fairy Left my house in the south west for Suzis house in Wales. Was a long and nasty 170+ mile trip and took me just under 5 hours to get there with a stop off at a place Suzi recommended called the Honey CafÃÆÃâÃâé where I ate a nice panini and salad. Suzi met me on the main road by her house where she walked with me to her house and to meet the parents etc. Didn't really do much on the Monday apart from flake out on the sofa relaxing and moving my stuff into the newly decorated spare room. Suzi then cooked up some chilli and rice to eat before having a relatively early night watching a dvd of The Thing where Suzi fell asleep on the bed so i left her be and turned off the telly and then went to bed myself. Matt arrived at about three o̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢clock on Monday afternoon. We hadn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t planned to do anything because we correctly figured that he would be a bit tired after the 5-hour drive. That evening we talked for ages and watched DVD̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s. Day Two: Tuesday 30th October ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ First day out. Wakey wakey rise and shine. Up showered and dressed to go food shopping, yay funtime lol. Tried to get a decend pumpkin to carve a Bubsa into but most of them were all too small or still green and horrible. Went round a couple of different supermarkets looking and finally got one which seemed suitable but it wasn't an easy task. In the afternoon we went to the exotic animal place to see some of the more weird and wonderful creatures that live in Wales other than sheep. I got to hold a snake and a massivly huge crocodile *ahem* lol. Suzi was too scared to told them but she did stroke them a little while i was holding. Also saw lots of big cats and saw them being fed rabbits which got me feeling hungry. The first thing we had to do was to go food shopping, including buying a pumpkin. This wasn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t the easiest task in the world, as the pumpkins we saw were too small or green, and many of the shops didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t even have pumpkins. Anyway, we persevered and managed to find quite a nice one. After all that we went to the local Animalarium where Matt got to grips with a snake and a Cayman crocodile. Day Three: Wednesday 31st October ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ Halloween An eventful day... kinda. We carved the pumpkin today but try as we might with about 4 different Bubsa stencils it wasn't going to work so we just cut a scary face into it. It didn't help that the sticker on the pumpkin was disguising a huge hole in the side of the pumpkin grrrr which I tried to care around to make it not noticeable but you could still tell :( Then we used the inside bit of the pumpkin to try to make a pie. None of us knew a recipe so we found one on the internet and using a little big of improvising and botchery we figured it all out and put the pumpkin bits in a bowl ready for cooking. Later I drove us to the Devils Bridge and waterfalls where I took about a bazillion pictures and it was such an amazing sight. On the way back we popped into Aber to walk along the promenade and to see the pier. Later in the evening we went back into Aber to go to the karaoke where I was hoping to do a live version of the Power of Bubs. firstly we almost didn't even make it when I had a slight "meeting" with one of the local chav boys too young to get into any of the pubs lol. It was also a bit too busy to sing so I just sat with Suzi in the corner singing to myself hehe It was time to carve the pumpkin. We had our Bubsa template ready but sadly it was not going to be. We removed the sticker to discover a hole in the bloody pumpkin. :( So we ended up giving him just a random face. However, the hole was difficult to incorporate into the design and he ended up looking as if he had a cleft palette. He was special. We scooped all of the flesh out of him and cooked it ready for making it into a pie, which neither of us had ever attempted to do before. We went to Devils Bridge and the Mynach falls, which were really picturesque. Then we stopped off in Aberystwyth for a walk along the promenade. That evening Matt wanted to go to karaoke in one of the pubs in Aber. On the way to the pub, a chavvy kid decided to throw an egg at Matt̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s head. Fortunately the kid had a crap aim and missed, but that didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t stop Matt from attempting to ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åhave a word̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  3. @Rick, just look at the top 50 most popular apps and pre-emptively block them. Thats what I did
  4. I've done that before to people. I am of the opinion that if you are not really my friend and only added me for e-cred and to spam me with app invites then you can go bug someone else.
  5. People already over use quotes as it is. No thanks.
  6. Maybe you just need to educate your friends a bit more about how crap most apps are. I honestly don't get that many any more, I think you are exaggerating.
  7. does that not work for you?
  8. You need to come soon tho Mad, i'm starting to run out of "Mad high" from the last time we met ^_^
  9. http://www.facebook.com/editprofile.php?contact Contact info privacy, I can choose to hide my email, phone numbers etc to only show to my friends. If i make them a "limited friend" then they can still see my profile but with no personally identifiable information. http://www.facebook.com/editaccount.php?notifications Able to change what kind of email notifications you get from your friends. http://www.facebook.com/feed_prefs.php This is the best section. It allows you to choose what feed notifications you get from you and your friends. Dont like seeing whos added who? Then change the slider. In the same section you can also choose to have less updates from some friends and more from others. This is why Facebook is so much nicer than Myspace to use. It seems that a lot of quirks that some people have posted about why they dont like facebook can be easily changed in the preferences.
  10. Thats what i was going to say. Take a powernap for ahlf an hour or something. Working when you are tired will just make the quality go straight downhill.
  11. I'm still unsure of what "complications" people are having with Facebook but fair enough i suppose. All my real life friends use FB which is a cleaner and faster interface. Any apps you don't want to be invited to you can block and you don't get spammed by randoms and bands trying to get you to listen to their crappy music.
  12. Lol yeah *pats Suzi on the head* but i'm not that short really, only compared to you lot... and when you go on tiptoes :(
  13. I love Myleene Klass
  14. A BBC poll showed that Facebook tends to be populated by older and more intelligent and educated people than Myspace, Bebo etc.
  15. If caring for your customers gives a better sales record then yes.
  16. Lloyd Kaufman with me and Suzi :) See this thread: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=711452
  17. Facebook is perfect for real life friends and organising events and parties etc. Myspace and Bebo are for children who want to act like someone they are not and for crappy teenager emo bands.
  18. Mercifull replied to Kashi's topic in Off-Topic
Are you a progressive space rock band?
  19. Right, so me and Suzi are back from the first half of the Troma Sunday. Went to the Masterclass at lunchtime today which lasted for a few hours. Lloyd was a really good speaker and he really knows his stuff about the industry, it wasn't boring in the slightest and there were lots of oppotunities to ask questions. After the masterclass there was a book and merchandise signing which was good and we got to have a little chat. Also I got really jealous because he got to kiss Suzi and I didn't :( boo. We also wanted pictures taken but some radio ppl were interviewing him for ages and we didnt want to wait that long. In about half an hour we are off to the screening of Poultrygeist and there's gonna be a Q&A after so im gonna have to think of some more questions to ask. We'll update soon, ciao for now. Matt & Suzi :D
  20. Move out, get a job and make your own money while you still know everything. (Suzi)
