Also, guess my account named "Flowers" is worthless now. Ohh well.
It was always worthless as it was never yours to sell...

Whatever the arguments for and against that idea, Jagex have only had 2 weeks to program and test this stuff since the thread opened. I'd rather this stuff now and in-game stuff in the future than it be held up while stuff gets developed.his week’s update has also made Momentum a persistent, toggled ability, much like Incite or Single-Way Wilderness. No adrenaline is generated while it is active, and it is still cancelled by use of any other ability.real update
Is 'war against gamling' only one new rule? No real ingame content like casion, card games, no moneysink?
Couldn't they add 'gamble option" where 2 players have 40% chance to win other player money and there is 20% for destroying money?
inb4 jagex adding new rule banable unarmed duel aren fights .

Yes but not only is is now a mutable offence so easy to get caught out but it's also a lot harder for the player to play these games. Before yoyu could place a bet and stay in game, know the result instantly. This is now gone. It wont be so easy to get new punters if people need to run an IRC client as well. They'll likely spam more about gambling IRC channels now instead.
Why not put the randomised items into a pattern though instead of just showing the one egg or one seal. Maybe it was just quicker to program that way.

Yeah its an OEM key... bugger.

I'm getting close to launch on the new FromeFM website that I've been developing. I was staring at the box design (as in the brief) and kept thinking how flat it looked. So I've added some shadow to the boxes using CSS
I've used the following code to make it work in modern browsers
.box { -webkit-box-shadow: 0 10px 6px -6px #666; -moz-box-shadow: 0 10px 6px -6px #666; box-shadow: 0 10px 6px -6px #666; }
However this doesn't work in old versions of Internet Explorer. I'm not fussed by IE6 or anything silly like that but it would be nice to get ti working at least in IE8

My laptop is on the way out but I'd like to try to save the Windows7 licence to use on another machine. It's legitimately paid for and I have a hologram and sticker on the bottom of the laptop.
However... It's faded from use and many of the numbers are obscured or too fuzzy to make out.
Is there a way of finding out the product/licence key from within the OS?

Mod Mark on the flowers sticky in RS General.
Fantastic to see a healthy discussion going on about this. I've read all your posts over the weekend and theres certainly some interesting points that have been raised.A few responses from me:
"Allow players to run chance games for each other rather than generating wealth via a NPC run game, but jagex serve as a middle man"
We did consider this, but there are too many potential scams with a system like that, and its difficult to know what to do if someone disconnects. We have a similar issue with some of the duel arena. I wanted to suggest a system I knew would be safe.
"If its NPC run then wont you just be generating wealth all the time?"
That depends entirely on how you implelent the project and the type of chance game we picked. Certainly I wouldnt want any game that we add to be injecting lots of coins into the economy. Averages will balance out over time too.
"There will always be these kinds of games, even if you stop the current ones. Focus on something else!"
I think that removing the mobile devices is a good first step - taking the spam away from the grand exchange. We can keep an eye out for methods (if any) that replace the flower games etc and do something about that too.

Maybe it's because so few of the characters are human? So the reworked Prince Ali and Doric quests got voiced and one of the biggest storyline quests in ages wasn't?
I guess they only need to try and impress people before they buy membership.

How are quests in the past going to work now? Are they going to be like dream sequences? And if so isnt Dream Mentor going to be a inceptiony lol?

Too busy QA'ing 07scape... Exhibit C of affecting main game. So, can they still only be fixed when totally decayed or has that been upgraded as well?
That problem has been addressed and Mod Edam is currently trying to get it through Q&A, but they have been waaay to busy lately...

Except at castlewars *trololo*2400 total level worlds are free from bots anyway.

Basically Jagex gifted 250k votes.

Not particularly happy that we keep getting system updates on real Runescape to fix stuff in 07scape.
Exhibit #2 of it affecting the main game.

I belive the requirements are for the story missions only.Still find it odd how I can get the occultist in my port with only 84 RC. I got a 5 chi mission or 25k exp. I'm actually leaning towards the 25k exp.

How can anyone fail to be impressed by an invisible console?! No more ugly boxes under the telly :D [/trololol]

It's a shame your voiceover guy can't pronounce Arianwyn or Lletya properly (they are Welsh words) :P
I've got a SoA glow in the dark wristband somewhere from RuneFest :)

It's been a really long time since the game had an official bestiary. I can vaguely remember the old one. The new one I'm glad for, but less enthused that I have to store stuff on my machine to make it work for any reason.
You already store a TON if stuff on your machine that you probably weren't aware of. Search your computer for a folder called .jagex_cache_32

Then what's the point in asking for a vote at all?

I was hoping not to have to use another js library as it's already getting a bit bloaty but I'll give it a go and see if it affects performance. Thanks.
