  1. My best with dds actually is a 32-35, but I was too late with screening :(
  2. I fully agree with your point. I guess the main reason for this trend is the always growning number of RS players, namely immature players. The growing number of people causes more and more people to achieve a certain good goal everyday, and because of this a thing to achieve becomes rather normal and people have nothing to actually worship anymore since so many have gotten it and it ain't special anymore, so they move to the section where there aren't alot active people. At the same time RS get's flooded with more immature people starting to play everyday, these players seem not to understand the concept of doing things in the unfair way, rather than achieving goals in the right way.
  3. Special attacks seem to play a major part in pk'ing, since it can come out handy to ko someone. But also in dueling, Castle Wars and just monster training alot of people seem to be curious for every single special if they can beat their max hit again. At least I'm one of these people that hopes to hit a nice 60+ with my dds. Please take your time to find a screenshot on your computer where you hit pretty high with any special attack (special attack pictures only!). Whether it's a with a magic short bow or a dds, we don't care :). Please also post whether you were super setted and whether you were using (att/str) prayer or not. My highest hit ever was 40-41 with a d hally special, but my highest hit I recorded was this hit in Castle Wars, yesterday. Examine info: Pray nubs in CW should be punished
  4. They call it small bits and pieces, a new bank isn't something that they can create within a day, it will probably require weeks, I guess they would notify it as a single update, not as part of small bits and pieces.
  5. Good luck on ur 99 fletching, I still need to get it lol, maybe something in the summer holiday together with 99 thief? :)
  6. I wish you the best of luck, and omg tbh, really nice name :D
  7. This is not meant to only discuss homeworld, it is also about what world you chose (in case you have no home world, like me) you play on, looking at the amount of players and probably other reasons.
  8. Just looking at the appearence of the achievements, which do you think looks the best? Not considering how special the cape is by itself because the skill is very hard to get to 99, just looking at the colours etc, which is the most beatifull according to you? And why? My personal favorite is the Firemaking cape, the neon-like orange colours just blow me away :P
  9. Probably I do yes. And next time don't react so arrogant because somebody made a thread like this. Mods please lock this?
  10. I was just thinking about this question. Do you guys have a favorite world (server) that you play on, and for what reason? If you play on random servers, than what makes you to chose this server? What amount of people do you prefer in a world, and why? Or do you just click a world and hope the best?
  11. :o I understand if you don't say hi to everyone you see irl :P But in a game such as rs how hard can it be to just shout hi and start talking whenever someone comes close enough ? :P I know I talk way too much while doing certain skills which then causes me to train slower lol. OT: I have certain rs friends who really mean a lot to me, as if I'd known them for real, of course with those friends (except for 1) our conection is't limited to rs chat but also includes msn, forums, other chat progs and maybe soon even rl :o And there are certain RS friends who I just know I can trust and they know can trust me, how often do you see a trade including 800mill for absolutely nothing get completed? :) I'm also friendly and loyal to any person that hasn't misconducted towards me ingame, therefore I (sometimes too often) expect other people to act the same way, which sometimes leads to a dissapointment on my side.. But I guess when you're treating with 10 year olds, and I never used to beone of those people shoutng 10 year olds and miniclip are ruining the game I have played for years since RSC and therefore belongs to me and I should be the first on Jagex list to please with any new update, no lol :P But seriously, I've seen them too much now, even my little 12 yr old brother has his whole class playing RS and their smaller brohers as well, and then there's the literally -10 yr old dutch kids who stand in RS shouting hello, is there anyone else here that goes to ..... primary (SP?) school in the class of Miss .... Then I just go [what the heck] :S These kids are gonna get in trouble someday :s The thing is, when I was there age I ddn't have access to internet in such a way, heck lol when I entered the net for the first time it was with my dad, on a 64k isbn line, using a search engine called "hotbot" to find information for my school project. I couldn't even think of playing a game like runescape versus millions of other players around the world in such manner... But hey, I'm going waaaaay off topic. srry lol I guess I take RS a bit too serious sometimes, but still, I prefer being loyal to and trusting people then to walk in RS as a solo idiot who snaps at everyone that doesn't trust him with the full rune they're asking for. Nice story lol ^^, sounds pretty much familiar, except for the 800m trade :o?, christmas cracker? :P Wished there were more people like you though :) Being very loyal is no problem at all I think, as long as it is not meant to result in "can I have free stuff, you know me very good now, and I helped you out alot too".
  12. Those are automatic sent messages from Jagex, you just have to name the term 'drop rate' or something like it and you will get a message back like this. Also Jagex mods have several opinions about the same issues on rs, pretty awkward right? And looking at all those people that've already posted yet it seems I'm not the only one, Jagex is slightly arrogant and wants to have full control of everything, nobody can take part in this, that's also what we can see back in certain controversial updates and statements Jagex makes, same goes for this automatically sent message. I still fully believe in this theory, like many others.
  13. Thanks drum and arte, that's an impressive story drum :D Good night y'all!
  14. So your friends are actually heroes? :o, they safed you from getting nolife (no rs) \
  15. I guess that catagorizing more or less counts for everyone, at least it does for me. It all depends whether. in this discussion, which of the groups you mean with 'friends'.
  16. Very nice 3rd age, phat, rares and pile of cash! 10/10!
  17. Chatting with players for a long time while on for example a slayer assignment can also be called friends in someway :P
  18. As we all know Runescape is a MMO, which means that you play with alot of other people at the same time, easy as that. During your rs carreer, lasting from a few weeks to a few years you have obviously met quiet alot of people, probably thousands. When you get some of these people to know better you become friends, maybe for a few days, or maybe even years. Except with just chatting with one another when you get bored there's lots of other things that you have probably done together, quests, minigames and....training skills. (however it seems that with certain skills we prefer to be alone rather than having people around :P). Without friends I guess you wouldn't have been playing rs for as long as you are playing now, at least I wouldn't. I can't seem to step away from rs, since to me it means leaving my friends I've known for years. So know for the discussion, what do friends mean in RS mean to you?
  19. I don't want it to be true, or partially I off course want good drops when killing monsters. It's just that looking at the huge differences between non-slayer and slayer tasks I wondered if anybody else has the same thing going on, I'm not claiming anything, I'm just trying to share my experience.
  20. I agree with you here, but I also don't know why you are telling this? I said more than once on this thread that you can only really agree or disagree when you've experienced these changes in drops a few times, and on pretty big numbers, not just 1 iron drag task of 25 and u get legs, and when u killed 50 magic u got nothing. Just simply not enough numbers to actually agree or disagree, same goes for you, that's a 1 time situation, there should be more examples.
