  1. No, he's still there. He can't automatically move his population until he has 10,000,000 colonists on another world.
  2. Which country did you own? The smaller country that was closest to Finland. It's already coloured your colour.
  3. (That's the one that was already coloured purple---Norway's colour.)
  4. Borders throughout the Britannian Empire are being fortified with military personnel. Visitors will be put through searches before entering. Ten destroyers have been sent to Japan and our other territories in the Pacific Ocean. Six destroyers are patrolling our African waters, 15 destroyers will guard the British Isles, and five destroyers will guard our territory in the Indian Ocean. The HMS Pax Britannica and the rest of the fleet that was dispatched with the ship and Aether's fleet have made it to Etematec in the Sega-Res system. Sixty thousand colonists from this fleet have landed on the surface of the planet. They are reporting a lush, riverine land that is bordered by mountain ranges in the north and a coastal area to the south.
  5. Eleven destroyers (2009-era) from the Royal Navy are being taken apart and rebuilt from the metal salvaged from the old ships. They should be remade in one year, costing approximately 6 billion each. These new ships will retain their respective names, but they will be outfitted with modern technology, just like the last 36 destroyers that I created a couple decades ago. E2S technology gained via the NWO will be incorporated into the Britannian Empire's defence grid. The production facility for nuclear weapons in Northern Scotland should be ready in about 3 years, although time can be added to the project if needed.
  6. They said in some Q&A that there would be at least one more Elf quest before Prifdinnas was released.
  7. Yes, she is referring to the Britannian Empire.
  8. By the way, Paul, if you are reading this, how much do your nanosuits cost again? I might be interested in buying some.
  9. Reiterating what Dungeonal said, we are doing a government-sponsored programme over the next 10 years that will grant our able-bodied citizens basic military training. This programme will cost a total of 1.5 trillion. Because of our new African land, our budget has increased (Britannia's budget, not Dungeonal's) from 461 billion to 681 billion. We are producing a facility in Northern Scotland that will produce fusion nukes and attach the warheads onto S2E missiles. This project will cost 80 billion. The missile shield in our African territory is being upgraded, as well as the shield in the British Isles. We are continuing to pay for our purchase of the entirety of Aether over the next 29 years. The Royal Navy and Royal Air Force is going to go through an overhaul. Three more years are left for Project Stellar Strife B.
  10. Fixed. We are allowed fusion bombs (AKA "clean bombs"). So far, only Malaysia and the Britannian Empire have these bombs, and they are better quality than 2009-era bombs. These bombs aren't shared via the NWO, so don't expect to get any from Mather.
  11. I don't think any of us (except Doomsavenger) would know what your starting GDP is. Basically, take that number and multiply by 20%. The number that you're left with is your spending money. Example: 250 billion GDP * 20% = 50b
  12. Sure. We are still 4 days from finishing the AI, though. Manned versions of the stellar fighters are available, though. Just join and select your race (human or some sort of alien, which can't be stupid/unrealistic), and we will create a solar system for you. If you choose to be human, you get a population of 10 million humans and basic technology (Faster Than Light drives, etc).
  13. [hide=History of Britannia]The history of the Britannian Empire began after King John ascended to throne of Ireland after a change in Irish politics during a time of uncertainty. The King promised that all of Ireland would again be reunited, and the IRA's violence would be quashed. Diplomats were sent to the United Kingdom, which accepted another Treaty of Union and effectively formed the nation known as Britannia. The King then became King John III of Britannia and relocated the position of power to London. A period of intense militarisation began when Germany formed the Fourth Reich and invaded most of continental Europe, along with their secret ally, Russia. However, the Germans decided to not invade Britannia and Bulgaria, eventually forming an alliance with the two nations later down the road. Britannia gained Canada via a treaty in North America. After World War IV ended (nations that retaliated after the German invasion), Britannia co-founded a large alliance called the New World Order. This alliance shared technology among its members and promised mutual protection. After nearly losing its African colonies, Germany was convinced to sign a treaty (Treaty of London, 2048) that granted a guarantee that it would halt aggressive expansion altogether. A short period of time after World War IV, the Eurasian Alliance was formed, and Britannia joined this alliance as well due to its belief in world peace. Rapid expansion and military growth continued, however. The Japanese Emperor later ceded his land to the Britannian Empire with the terms that 1) Their citizens would retain their way of life, 2) The Japanese Emperor would ascend to the Throne of Britannia some day, and 3) The lands owned by the Japanese Empire would become known as the Republic of Britannia. The Japanese emperor became known as Lord Albert of the Eastern Dominion. King John III accepted these terms, which effectively ended absolute monarchy and heavily strengthened the Britannian Empire's military and gave it an enormous amount of land and wealth. Later on, there were disagreements over Britannia's annexation of New Zealand, which was resolved in a treaty that ceded the land to Russia. Britannia developed a huge space programme and created the HMS Pax Britannica, one of the largest starships in existence (and one of the most powerful). Using its space fleet, Britannia colonised a world in the Sega-Res system known as Britanniae. Due to the space programmes of other countries, the Britannian government bought land that was once owned by Aether and Burma/Cambodia. Today, Britannia's diplomatic relations with the rest of the world has been steady, despite a few crises that nearly erupted in wars. It continues to be one of the most powerful (and albeit successful) empires that the world has ever known.[/hide]
  14. I don't think it was called the Treaty of London either. :/ http://forum.tip.it/topic/241086-the-tip-it-hegemony/page__st__3400__p__3859467entry3859467 It literally was.

  16. You had the northern state that bordered Russia (Latvia or something like that).
  17. Sold. 2 tril please. Which part was yours, though? I may have given you a northern slice of Sweden, but I'm not sure. Not even sure how big said slice was.
  18. 100b a year over the next 30 years does NOT put me in debt, considering that I alone have a 461b budget. Also, Burma and Cambodia (population) still belong to Kirby. I am only paying for his land.
  19. 3 trillion over 30 years makes me in debt?
  20. Doom, can you get on IRC, please?
  21. 100b a year for the next 30 years for Burma and Cambodia.
  22. 1.1 tril for burma
  23. Thanks. FTL is basically finished, but we're just waiting for Doom to iron out the thread and post it during a time of decreased traffic (I believe sometime tomorrow.). I agree. Perhaps we could provide an interesting backstory to go along with our stats about our empires? It might help some new players understand the basic history and political style of the different nations.
  24. I don't really think that's necessary, to be honest. The FTL thing was basically something that most people ignored the costs of during research, and it only serves to make the game play less drawn out (i.e you wouldn't have to take 20 days in order to do a single action, etc.). For something that serves only to defy the laws of physics in order to make gameplay possible, I think everyone should be able to get it.
  25. I think people are just doing it.
