The nation is on full-alert. We officially declare war on Aether. My Lancelots are going to combat the Aetherians along our border between Britannian Canada and Aetherian North America. I have deployed about one thousand Lancelots into Aether's heartland. You have just [bleep]ed with the wrong person. ALL HAIL BRITANNIA! [yt]63o8exNK4-Q[/yt]

I have a ship(thanks doom) and am sending a first shipment of colonists there as we speak, As you have not antagonized me I would be fine sending a few of you astronauts with me to mars. Also I have moved back 4 of the 8 aircraft carriers I had near germany so you use stealth bombers Japan or me spots them they get shot down... Thanks. You will surely receive mercy if we fight in combat.

Kirby, although you would be useful to us, I would advise that you don't get dragged into this war. I will grant you a guarantee of sovereignty, however.

If anyone would be so kind as to let me send some of my people onto your spaceship with your colonists to Mars, that would be appreciable. Even if you happen to be an enemy, I will grant you a display of mercy in return for your favour.

Lancelots are fully prepared for combat. I have told the pilots to scatter throughout the Empire and to prepare to go into combat. My satellites are fully operational. All soldiers are in their uniforms and combat gear. The Royal Navy has been deployed and some are moving to different areas. A portion of my Lancelots have been sent off as well. All aircraft are patrolling Britannian territory. The missile-defence shields are powered to maximum. Sirens are currently going off in major cities for non-military personnel to evacuate into bunkers if they can, or just go underground. There are also uniformed soldiers patrolling our streets with a few Lancelots. Our remaining tanks are also patrolling other areas. We also have our B2s ready. Oh, and some turrets in my major cities (built these a long time ago) are operable.

Fighting.
That's exactly what I was thinking.

Not without Britannia and Russia helping him. Or I could crash my biggest spaceship into Europe, wiping out all life on that side of the world, in all likelihood, and causing the equivalent of nuclear winter. And why would you do that?

A lot of the stuff in this thread is impossible with today's technology. However FTL travel is completely impossible. You just can't travel faster than the speed of light. There's a theory that you could use wormholes to bend two parts of space closer together and travel through a shortcut. : Wormholes don't exist, it's a theory/plot device. Yeah, but isn't that basically what people are going off of? Your idea of omniscience between rulers on Earth and their extra-solar colonies is also a plot device as well.

So is extra-solar colonisation, Battlestar Galacticas, plasma shielding, and a helluva lot of other stuff on this thread. Unless something is just ridiculously unrealistic, leave it alone.

That's the design they're based off of, doesn't mean it looks EXACTLY like that. Also, no way I'm redoing all that math for the second or third time. If it appeases you with your view of what's realistic, I can reduce the B2s. However, I'm not fudging on the Lancelots. You said an exo-suit would cost 500-750,000 each with 2045-era technology. That's what an exo-suit looks like...

I found a basic picture of what a Lancelot looks like. They are roughly the height of two humans standing on each others' shoulders. Maybe a foot or two higher. The Lancelots have a bluish colour with a Britannian flag overlaid with a double-headed eagle.

Your HAWs are like freaking skyscrapers.

We currently have around 350,000 Lancelots. There are about 375,000 simple B2 designs. Lancelots are the most powerful and cost 750,000 each and have automatic weaponry, heavier artillery, and explosives, as well as the usual armour. B2 units are cheap, but no where near the match as a Lancelot. B2s are just designed for easier travel across boulders and rough terrain and have little armour and weaponry (but they have some mounted AK-47s). I have spent quite a bit over a 3-year period, but these are my pride and joy. :

We have detected massive seismic activity coming from Inner-Germania. We are terrified of what may have been the cause of it. All reserve troops have been mobilised. The 10-million strong army is ready. Lancelots are ready as well.

Britannia would like to clear up the misunderstandings about our exo-suit production. We are using B-2 exo-suits, which are nothing more than simple infantry enhancements. We are using a newer model as well, which is the more expensive (600,000 ea) model that incorporates heavy armour and automatic weaponry. The B-2 design is equipped with tendril-like legs that makes it more ideal for rough terrain and climbing over boulders. The new design, the Lancelot, has more human-like features and is roughly the height of two humans. It has wheels that makes it fast on pavement and level surfaces, and it can walk like a human on rougher terrain. We will come back later and announce how many we have produced.

If you attack a country, that makes you the aggressor. You have a defence pact with Norway, and I assume you have the same with Russia as well. The thing is, any act of aggression will void any obligations of the participating allies to help you. Also, I wouldn't use a biological weapon as there are multiple other nations that will probably jump in and attack you, even if you didn't mean to infect them. Brazil has made it clear that it will declare war on any nation that uses a biological weapon and infects its citizens with it, even by accident.
