Shading is not just from those programs. Mostly, people use paint and just pick the different colours, and shade it from there. Its like painting, not just doing one colour and then letting the computer do the rest for you...if you just let the computer shade it, its a pointless use of work. This is what I did without using any fanshy panshy programs, just MS paint: And if your stuck here, stuck without any shading, I suggest you go make free sigs on runehq...lol. Tip it is far too good for non-shaders. Just my $1247, worth alot more than 2 cents.

Actually it was... 3/10, too much blood, the magic arrow special doesnt have that little green around it, the greater demon is ok, the guys knee looks bad, make it rounder, try more shading, more detailed background, and putting more weight on the guys, the worst thing to see is "warriors" that are way too skinny. The best way to Improve is to look at the good sig makers sigs, like misterxman, your mother, axeraide, shaw, TJ, so on...That's how I got through when I was stuck. But dont rip or copy, just look at how they do it and get ideas from there.

I'm almost done the basic shape on yours, gone_crazy, all I need to do is the hatchet, tree, and bg(bg I will finish later). Then I'll get started on maximus's.

What shading? Anyways, everything is good but the sky. Try looking around at the sig makers skies, and learn there, thats what I do when I'm stuck.

Thats some nice "pillow shading" you got there, I hate doing that, it makes it seem as if theres a light inbetween the viewer and the picture. Big no-no, always make a light source and work with it. Aside from that, its overall good.

Well, at first the squirell was only added at the last phrame :roll:...and I told him that the "head" (squirell) should be in there the whole time, not just pop in, and the arm needs to go down at the end of the animation, it wouldnt just go numb when the axe came out of hand. He had also blocked me with most of my other constructive critisism...or maybe he went to work on it and blocked me so he wouldnt get distracted.

Yeah I tried telling him that on MSN, but he ignored me and logged off or blocked me...
