  1. most processors you buy now are 64 bit. They work with 32 bit, or 64 bit software. I have a 64 bit AMD 3500, i am running windows xp pro 32 bit. My brother has a core 2 duo e6850 , he is running windows xp pro 64 bit. It took him 3 days to get all his drivers installed, because every driver he had he had to download it seperately from the manufacturer's website. Yes, 64 bit is compatable with just about everything. But it will take a lot longer to get all your drivers installed, and it is a pain... now, is there a difference between them performance wise. I would say no, nothing noticable, my comp runs things just fine with 32 bit software. sorry for all the spelling errors, its 3am :-s my advice is, get a decent core 2 duo processor, and put normal windows on it (32 bit)
  2. i would go for the geforce 8800 GTS, get the 640mb superclocked version, you will lose very little performance wise, and it will save you $100+ in my opinion you are too focused on your graphics card....u have the best graphics card available selected(except the ultra), and yet only a e6700. I would say chop off the graphics just a little, and put in another gig of ram, and go one more up on your processor. my brother just bought a new comp, he has the e6850 with 4 gigs of ram, but only a geforce 7900 GS. His was only $1200 canadian. I think if you build yours with more processing and memory, and less graphics, it will be a good choice. Remember too, a graphics card is much easier to upgrade then a processor is. EDIT: every motherboard you buy will have a pci slot. pci slots are used for sooo many things right now. Any new motherboard will have a pci-e slot now. And very, very, very few motherboards will have an AGP slot anymore. Those were only used for graphics, and pci-e has been around long enough for them to become out-dated.
  3. im a red purple. I play everything whenever I feel like it, but I prefer and excel at faster paced, more action types of things.
  4. ... i actually have a really bad internet connection (just a wireless with low signal) and it constantly cuts out, its the reason i dont kill drags or anything else much. I only do kq cuz i have a partner to grab my stuff :)
  5. for me, my first ever dragon drop....a d chain :)
  6. i would agree with the MGS2, the first MGS was sooooo good, me and my brothers beat it over 8 times....the second one lacked everything......it was just a sad excuse for a game.....
  7. i might just turn all my normal att and str pots into these, then i can use them on mid lvl monsters and i wont need to bring food...
  8. i fletch and kq....so far neither have been doing to well #-o all the prices in fletching seem to be rising, while the final price for yew longs is dropping :( with a little effort i earn 1 mil for every 5mil i spend on supplies....which isnt great.... and as for the kq, 150 trips, no chain, and i expect the price of chains to drop....sooooo :-k perhaps its time to find something else :P
  9. please post this proof of jagex saying that, cuz i havent seen a jmod saying that a row will give you better chances for a chain at the kq..... EDIT: to be honest this discussion has gone nowhere... lets just leave it at this, some people use it, some people dont, to be frank, theres not a noticable difference, it all just relies on luck....
  10. i dont see any proof from the other side yet either, I will go and find you some drop lists, when I find them I will edit this with the links... Drop log with row i know its a small one, but ill get some more 1 chain, 120 kills, around 1/100 Drop log without row this log is big, 1800 kills, 18 chains....1/100 Another without row 3 chains, 270ish kills, so around 1/100 i just found another without row, just over 300 kills, and 3 chains, so again 1/100 hmm, i know i only got one log with row, i will keep looking, but all the ones i find with it have like 20 kills.....
  11. im saying that the d chain is not a rare enough drop at the kq for the row to effect it. D 1/2, D2h, D med helm, kq head (yes i know this drops at same time as another drop), iron arrows, all these are rarer than the chain, and i am speaking not only from experience, but its been proven before in lots of drop lists, you can beleive me or not i dont care, but i can assure you, that in the case of the d chain, I truly dont think the ring effects it. If it does, no drop lists have proven it yet....
  12. i have no proof, except if you look at just about any kq log, whether thye use the ring or not, chains average to about 1 per 100 kills.... so if it doesnt change anything, why bother with the ring
  13. i understand the point of mods, but to be honest, i think they do more harm then good. Every single noob out there wants to be a mod, so they go out reporting people like mad, hoping jagex will see them and give them mod. Ok theres nothing wrong with reporting someone, but if someone is wandering around reporting every little tiny thing they see, then there can be a problem. I have 1 blackmark, ooh big deal right. Well, i got that blackmark for commenting on somebody's man-skirt, i didnt use a single swear word, or anything close to it, but someone saw what I said as being offensive, and thus, my first black-mark. I think that having pmods in the game encourages wanna-be mods to go around reporting every tiny little thing they see. I know many people will dissagree with me, but you have to admit that in some ways, i am right. oh, I have nothing wrong with mods, I have met lots of really nice mods, its againts wanna-be mods, and thats where the disaster lies
