IMO they should have more monsters that drop big bones. We need more of that prayer exp.
I'd also appreciate a bury-x feature. My wrists hurt.
Screw big bones, I wish they'd let F2p buy dragon bones, it'd be a huge market boost for P2p.

Have you ever heard that not everyone has stats like yours? Not every boss can have a level of over 9,000.

Yes, I was talking about Swept Away and Myths of the White Lands. The beauty of the quests was that while seasonal, they weren't really holiday oriented. One issue is that not only are the vents awful, boring, and unoriginal, they're also incredibly short too. It's a waste of time on temporary content. That time could be better spent doing practically anything else.
You bring up a good point, the quests weren't exactly Christmas and Halloween oriented, they were just a bit seasonal but would really make sense anytime during the year. As long as none of the quests are too specific about the holiday they'd be associated with then I'd love to see them bring the quests back.

Evony is by far the worst example of baiting pubescent males with b00biez in advertisements that I have ever seen. Glad they didn't win... tbh I want to read the criticism the guy wrote about them but the link isn't working for me.
The advertising for Evony should be illegal, ads should at least be about the game and not CGI boobs.

I'm not sure it's a good thing that they're advertising on funnyjunk.com, if they were advertising on a more mature site I don't think I'd mind but anyone who visits funnyjunk.com can't be any better then those people from Miniclip.

Jagex seems to be trying really hard to be politically correct this time, teaching kids about easter in different cultures.
If they were trying to be politically correct they epically failed, the bit about different real life cultural aspects of Easter felt glued on at the last minute to an unrelated piece of dialogue.

I didn't really like the squirrel ears, there already are bunny ears, and the squirrel ears are ruining the antique-ness of my bunny ears.
The squirrel ears are so small you hardly notice them, they aren't a threat to your bunny ears at all. Besides, next week everyone will have destroyed their squirrels ears after the initial excitement runs out.

Worst holiday event in a while to be honest, it was pretty much a copy paste of last years event with a distractions and diversions type game thrown in. And the reward is just kind of meh considering the squirrels only stick around for about a minute.

So many things in runescape require teamwork it is hard to list them.
But considering the amount of players who prefer not to team up all the time, wouldn't you agree it'd be against the spirit of the game and kind of unfair for Jagex to release updates that disadvantage people who would rather not "cooperate" with others all the time?

Yeah, really odd what's going on at Jagex Towers, no twitter, no blog, no weekly FAQ. They're all having the week off or they have something truly epic to work on. Hoping for the second one.

Oh, I'd like to see the 300qp helmet combod with the quest cape please. Really like to see it with a trimmed quest cape, though.
Really pointless. If that was true, then you could get the hat before the cape and you'd instantly have a trimmed one. Which kinda beats the point in having two 99's.
No one implied it would give you a trimmed Quest Cape.
Maybe, but i don't really see any other way a "combo" would be of any use. If the helm boosts the cape or the other way around, then it's just as pointless, since you need max Qp anyway to get that combo bonus.
I'm pretty sure Kalafai was just talking about a "combo" of looks, not stats or boosts. They were just saying they would look good together.

I was hoping the next F2p quest I saw would be related to the new skill, but meh, it's good for new players.

I've been using the Port Sarim deposit box. Does that one lobster really make a difference? Plus it's faster, even if you get one less lobster.

So, other than the Orb, it seems F2P did not get an update this week, correct? So... Rune Mechanics is what the red-mist-that-floats was all about, or was it the Orb? Or could we *gasp* see another update this week? (Highly doubting the last one...) This is really much less of a big update than I thought it was going to be.
It has been confirmed by Emilee that the smoke had nothing to do with this =)
So we should be expecting another update this week?

With the new skill coming out February, I'm kinda confused of what to do now.
You don't know if the new skill comes out in february... so deciding what to do based on some rumours isn't really clever. Just do what you like because it's still a game and a game is meant to be fun.
Exactly, what reliable piece of information do we have that the skill is coming out in Feb (unless you claim the strange power was a clue)?

Another examine in Canifis I like is Yuri: he seems to be staring at the moon. Yuri Gagarin tribute I'm sure. Svetlana's examine - she's a drama queen - makes me think of gymnast Svetlana Khorkina, but I don't know if that's what Jagex meant.
I think Yuri looks at the moon cause he's a werewolf like everyone else in Canifis, don't think it has anything to do with that Gagarin guy (whoever that is).

I'm just glad F2P is getting an update this week. Seems like we haven't gotten one in forever (other than the holiday events).
Looking forward to it!
If you're referring to the Orb, unless it's been publicly stated, don't expect it to be F2p.
