Stats are in sig Once I get my thieving up, should I go for desert treasure? I'm not a very confident player, especially on the harder quests. I think i'm ready, but what should I wear and use for each person. I don't want to lose my whip, barrows, ect being an idiot. Or perhaps introduce me to a guide with a high success rate, but i'd rather have personal opinion versus a guide. Thanks.

I made the money doing the merching runes thing; it works extremely well. I made the money in one day to buy my whip back and full torags (no hammers).

Well, I just got lured and lost all of my money and some other stuff. However, I still have my whip, and I know it takes money to make money, so my question is: What is the fastest way to double 2.6 mil? note: if merching is suggested, what is the best thing to merch nowadays?

My worst day was today. I was looking for new ways to make money today and I thought i'd try to merch runes. After selling 6k chaos and 1k death runes, I was down to my last 1k. I was walking around east fally bank and I get a pm from someone wanting to by the deaths for 350k, so I told him i'd meet him in edgeville (you know where this is going). After meeting up with him, he trades with me and drags me into the wild, and before I could run back, I get ice barraged. I lost 1.2 mil, 1k death runes, fire staff, and some weapon poison. Atleast they didn't get my whip. :cry: I feel so stupid for doing that.

Recently, I blew all of my money on a new whip and now i'm left with 30k. I've set a new goal of obtaining roughly 4m for various stuff and I was wondering what is the quickest way to get that money. I know what I can do skill wise to make money, but i'm more interested in merching or killing for nice drops. If I were to merch, what would be best and if I were to kill, what would be best?

sell each oak plank for 500gp. make sure you sell on forums, tons of people are buying them for that price

I made 2 mil in one day planking tons oaks and selling on the runescape forums. It's tons of work, but it was worth it.

Yeah, lost city is extremely easy if you have a decent range or mage level. I timed my friend and he did it in 15 minutes.

Sucks that happened to you. I've got a friend who plays Runescape and we pretty much help each other out on everything. It wouldn't matter if he stole my stuff from me, he bought me 2 months of membership. \

Yesterday I went on a crowded f2p for the third time since my membership and I will say, it'll be awhile before I go back. Apparently, trying to buy yews means message me and harass me to death to buy your willows. When walking to Lumbridge from Draynor, someone said I had been scamming a lot and I should give him my password to keep from being banned. Naturally, I just sent up a nice "haha" which he followed up with "**** my **** ************." Later, someone said he'd report me if I didn't buy his 100 yews at 350gp each.

I started playing in early 01 and made that account (sad gorilla) as a mule. I quit playing in mid 02 (I think) and i've since then forgot my main screenname. I started playing again about a month or so ago on sad gorilla.
