I will be taking an offensive attack on this goal and will share my progress, pks and anything else i find interesting with you. But my main goal will be mining the ores over trying to kill people. I log in and the 94 was attacking a rune miner, so I lured the 71 away from his mate and hit 18, 15, 7, Dead. Lol look at the stuff he had. Mith bars and Addy ores/bars are sky rocketing now for some reason. If you can try to buy addy ore 900 - 1100 ea and sell for 1300 ea. Or try to buy mith bars for 1000 - 1200 ea and sell for 1500 ea.

This was when I got 1050 f2p. (LVL 93) Now I have attained 1100 f2p. (LVL 99) Only future goals are probably 100 combat and then maybe 99 strength and 90 mining. Rate me please! Ruff ryder73.

Ok so i am getting ready to change from f2p to p2p to ultimately have some fun at barrows. I have read into it and found out the best way to do well at my combat level is to have 55 slayer. So first of all I will do the required quests that give slayer xp and are required to get the barrows. Hopefully training both slayer and combat at the same time will make me a bit stronger to do well at barrows. My question is this. What would be the best type of p2p armour and weapons to train combat/slayer? Full dragon + whip? Barrows armour/weapons? Your thoughts? Ruff ryder73

Ok, so I've been f2p for ages now and never been a member. I have always been interested in Barrows and want to see how I would go during my holidays. First of all my stats: Att:70 Str:84 Def:65 HP:77 Combat: 91 1. What items do I need to get going? (e.g, armour, weapons, pots, food) 2. What is the price of all items? 3. Where are some good guides on how to do Barrows? I will searching for information, but would greatly appreciate any experienced people to shed light on some tips, etc. Thanks in advance. Nice guide. I remember when I first started mining rune, i was such a novice and kept on getting killed. Now through experience and a couple of your tips I will be an even better miner. Add me and we can mine together in the future. Ruff ryder73

Powermine at al kharid mine. Stand in the middle of the 3 iron rocks where you can one hit each one and then drop all 3. Repeat. Easy and fast xp. Also try to do it in more popular worlds as the iron respawns faster and your not standing there wasting time.

I've found the offensive tactic to be pretty effective. I usually go with full mith (because i can smith it), str ammy and scimmy and a full load of lobbies. This means I can usually mine the rocks when no one is there and scare off or kill lower levels. However whenever a higher level or a team comes I just log. Make sure that you always have the logout screen up so you can quickly log out when trouble comes, its a good tip. Also if you do get attacked, try to lure them over through the agressive red spiders or ice giants which may give you a chance to get away and log.

Good luck, its worth it in the end....its such a great sense of achievment for f2per's and I've had so much fun mining rune in wild. You can do it =D>
