i've done 73 barrow runs recently without a single blood rune or bolt rack from the chest..i get 7 killcount everytime and yes i know the killcount improves rune drops from chest.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But do you need over 10 KC to get bloods or racks?

I don't know if 10+ KC is required to get bloods or bolt racks, but usually I get around 15 KC and almost all of my chests include blood runes/bolt racks or both.

This is only my opinion based on my own experience but I recommend getting a kc of around 20. I believe if you do this you will begin to amass plenty of blood runes and bolt racks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If tunnel monsters contribute runes and racks to the chest then it stands to reason that the more you kill the better your chance is to get them as part of the chest reward.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, just give it a few tries and see :D

i get a 15 kc ea run i get on average 40-70 racks, but i dont get very many bloods...maybe like 40 ever 2 or 3 runs

its just random each time what runes you get i believe, ive gotten lately no deaths but about 50-60 bloods 300 chaos 500 minds and about 37-50 racks lately with a kc ranging around 15. just keep on with it and you'll get them eventually.

gona try a few trips with 10 killcount now because 79trips now with none

That makes no sense, for my first few runs at barrows I only got the min KC and still got bloods and block racks, I guess you don't got the virtual luck :|

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maybe its all saving up for when you kill KQ, first kill = D chain pl0x?

I think you need 15+ KC to get bloods and boltracks, never got any with lower than 15.
