Best place to mine iron?

Featured Replies

I was wondering, what is the best place to mine/bank iron? I'm planning on mining many thousands of ores so I would appreciate any suggestion.

I'm guessing you are p2p.

I like the rocks N of Yanille along the coast near Por tKhazard.

Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !

There's also an almost deserted place in the Gnome Stronghold underground mine (But you must have completed The Grand Tree Quest.)

if you have 60 mining, and you want to go to f2p, go to fally mines. go through the mining guild entrance[south of bank] and go to the non-guild part. just north and west of the addy rocks. there is an iron ore spawn that has two diaganol rocks[the time it takes to mine(one-hit the rocks), drop, and turn to the other rock is the time it takes to respawn. this is perfect for powermining]. this is also a great place to bank because if you go through the guild it is really fast banking.

Ignore all of these suggestions above my post..

Best spot is under grand tree.. there 8 or 9 rocks there when you push roots go to your left.. then the bank is on 2nd floor.

Thanks for the suggestions, is gnome stronghold actually faster than yanille?

The best spot is the mining field North East of Yanille (see map).

There's three rocks right next to each other that are perfect for quick mining.

There's also four rocks just north of there if those three are busy

If you work hard, you can manage about 700 ores per hour

Judging by your stats i can assume that you have done legend's quest. I remember when i mined about 15k iron, i mined in the mines just south of there. They turned out to be pretty close to bank and *almost* never another person there.

Hope this helped, although i haven't mined in the other places so i'm not sure if they're better.
