The following note is from the Runescape Knowlege Base: Please note: The 'Burst' and 'Barrage' spell types are multi-target, but their multi-target effect is castable only in multicombat areas and will hit a maximum of a 9 square area (i.e. the opponent is the centre of a 3x3 grid). Be warned, you will hit your friends if they are in this area, regardless of any Wilderness capes being worn! If you are not in a multicombat area, the spell will only affect one target. Also note that it is impossible to hit more than 9 targets with a single barrage spell. Maybe there is conflicting information, not sure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Robot919 Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 You can hit more then 1 monster/person in a square. I've seen this happen in PC. There were like 7 monsters standing on top of each other, and someone barraged them all. But you can only hit 9 monsters/players in total. I've also seen this happen in CW. The other team (Zammy) had their own flag and there was about 15 people standing under the guy with the flag. A level 124 on Sara (the team I was on) went there and barraged them all.
