Lobby4
Well...umm...how do you do it? (Pls don't say "buy low sell high" )
Vulxai
i have never merchanted before but what i'd do is buy a whip for like 1.5-1.55m and keep the price FIRM. And once you can find a buyer (hopefully), sell it for like 1.65m and keep that price FIRM. That's the best advice i can give is make sure your prices are firm. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
bsmovies
same as all merchanting. hang around, look for the prices of sellers. once you spot the lowest price seller, buy his whip. then sell it to a buyer nearby, and if you bought from the lowest seller, youll always make profit selling to higher buyers. neolink458
Sorry if this sounds off topic, but did whips really drop that low? Last I saw they were 1.7 mil to 1.8 mil. Maybe I can finnaly get one soon. \

ortiz9471
yeah, there like 1.6m now i believe Yes, they sell for 1.6-1.65 now I wouldn't suggest merchanting whips. Outside of w2 almost everybody is selling 1.65-1.7 and buying for 1.6 Inside of w2 everybody is selling 1.65, but there are about 20 people buying for 1.64.... It's just so hard to make profit off that with so many people doing it.
TheKoolAidMan
Merchanting whips is a bad idea, as their price tends so change a lot, so you might end up losing money. Barrows sets like torags and ahrim would be better as their price tends to stay the same over a period of time.
Freesia
Merchanting dds/d scim may be a good alternative to whips. Buy for probably normal prices and hang out near areas like edgeville where pkers may want to buy them for a higher-than-normal price Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
