Ok there seems to be a problem with mage vs melee vs range!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heres my point...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mage = 99 mage, ice barrage, 30 damage, Hitting once!

 

 

 

Range = 99+ range, msb, hitting 20-20, almost 2 times in a row!

 

 

 

Melee = 99 str, dds, hitting 32-32, 4 TIMES IN A ROW!!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How is this fair?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not only is mage and range undepowered, they are the first 2 protect spells you get!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Melee can hit on u 32-32-32-32-32-32-32-32 unless you have 42 pray!

 

 

 

Mage can only hit 30, until u have 37 pray!

 

 

 

Range can hit 20-20, wait a few seconds, 20-20, un til you have 40 prayer!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Most noobs have 37 pray!

 

 

 

Medium players have 40 Pray!

 

 

 

It takes a good player to get 43 prayer!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My suggestions:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make it so that the dds can only hit 15 when using special, at all other times, u hit the normal 32 at 99 str. that way at least it will only deal 120 damage MAXED using all specials!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

OR...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make it so mage can have a special, that has 3 uses, that hits 30, maybe make it look like the crumble undead spell? each special unleashed 2 hits, and has 3 uses, for a total of 180, closer to what the DDS is hitting with all 4 specials now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ALSO...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make it so that the msb has 4 specials, hitting 25 each, instead of a noobish 20, this way it will be hitting a max damage of 200, still not what the dds hits!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Facts:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Current: a mage with 99 mage can ONLY hit 30 once per turn!

 

 

 

~Total Damage in 4 turns: 180

 

 

 

This is 4 consecutive normal hits with ice barrage!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Current: a Ranger can only hit 40 once, and again after a few seconds! ~Total damage in 4 turns: 120

 

 

 

This is a special hitting 20-20, 1 turn hitting 20, for it to recharge, another special hitting 20-20, and another normal hitting 20!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Current: a DDS can hit 64 once per turn, for 4 turns!

 

 

 

~Total damage in 4 turns: 260

 

 

 

This is 4 consecutive specials, each hitting 32-32!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Doesn't this seem unfair?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Level 126 mage = Full ahrims

 

 

 

Level 126 melee = Full black Dragon Hide

 

 

 

Neither praying! Neither Potting!

 

 

 

Each has 99 in all skills, the MELEE WILL WIN!!!!

 

 

 

ISN'T THE MAGE SUPPOSED TO WIN IN A FAIR FIGHT???

Lets see... melee rarely hits that high, mage can freeze people for a long time and do mass damage? Rangers need to shove their bows up their.... Apparently idiots who have never heard of the combat triangle.

Melee does hit that high, and can use snare with a normal mage level, I've have been hit that before, and i have hit that before, yes mages can freeze, but mages also have to pay for each hit, and rangers have to pay for hits AND cant freeze, because the dragon hide jsut about stops rangers from maging at all.

Really d hide just needs a major negative melee bonus. It's [bleep]ed up that I miss a lot (on 99 mage!) against some level 90 noob with full black d hide. Also, that's bs that melee can't hit 30s easy with dds. If I get DDS'ed by a 99 strength person, It usually hits 30-30. It's funny how Jagex nerfs the hell out of range then makes melee stronger and occasionally neglects mage.

Have you ever tried pk'ing an experienced mage using melee in the wild? The triangle is balanced already.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don't forget its not a easy and just using straight attack spells to be a good mage, you have to work strategy as well. Entangle and god spells would still wipe out a warrior pretty quickly.

If the warrior is in dragon hide, the mage will not hit with entangle and God spells.

no, its not surprising but it should not happen either way, I made this to try to even things out, but so many people are pro melee the're not supporting. noobs are nothing without dds, and many high lvl pkers are nnpby and like dds, mainly because the special, without the special, its a noob weapon!

First of all, this isnt about me, I'm not a mage, It's jsut clear that the triangle is unbalanced and I'm meleer, rofl.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but i will answer you,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. I solo most the time...

 

 

 

2. I pk 10 - 15 trips per day...

 

 

 

3. Duh noob, look at siggy

 

 

 

4. Same as number 3

 

 

 

5:

 

 

 

Headgear: Dharoks Helm

 

 

 

Body: Dharoks Pl8

 

 

 

Legs: Dharoks Legs

 

 

 

Weapon: Whip

 

 

 

Sheild: Crystal

 

 

 

Gloves: Barrows Gloves

 

 

 

Boots: Infinity Boots

 

 

 

Cape: Strength Cape or Fire Cape, depends on how I want to look, mostly Fire though...

 

 

 

Amulet: Fury

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. Pray pot, sup str, sup att, sup def, sup stat restore, energy, range pot, mage pot, and sharks.

 

 

 

7. I would say I'm a decent pker, i dont tele, i dont run, i fight till death, and i hardly ever lose... total since i have been pking with dh i have only lost 1 set to a pure, which i said good fight to, and i bought another set, and haven't lsot it, and I have been pking in dharoks for 9 months to 16 months...

The entangle + god spell combo isn't that effective. Trust me. Then they throw on black hides and even a 99 mager misses like hell then.
