  1. There really was no need to post there, but anyways... 1. you sound very foolish and selfish. 2. Not everyones parents pay them for doing chores, some of them actually expect their children to work as a citizen of the family and household 3. It's internet, not interweb, I can't stand it when people say that 4. For some people, $5.00 a month is something. Especially with how gas prices are going. they can't possibly be going up only in the u.s. 5. for those of you who posted this as a concern, I'm not proposing multiple mage updates, those are just different options, only one to be chosen, and also, I've bee meaning to remove ghostly robes from the list Also, I have to give some people (*hem*, zaaps) 6. I'm finally back, after a long time, mostly because of school
  2. and let me guess, next you'll be wanting to fly while wearing the reindeer hat/mask  I think not.
  3. Love the idea, but you could fix a few things: 1. Instead of rabbit ears, make it arabbit mask, since rabbit ears are a holiday rare. 2. Doesn't the dragontooth have a bit much for stats, try combining mage ammy and power ammy 3. The blood runes reward is a bit much 4. Did you mean 0.15 minutes? 0.15 seconds is no time at all, and are there stats with the white d-hide, they could be like the same stats as green, except they're white. Also, what stats would the bow have? and the arrows, what are they equivalent to??? Thats about all I've got to say, thank you for your time.
  4. Oh, so what you are saying here, is that there shouldn't even be a f2p? Well let's imagine here for a bit, ok? Let's say that Jagex removed f2p entirely, and then they took away all levels, items, shortcuts, and QP that you got from F2P, would you consider that fair? You'd lose all rune, money, runes, ranged equipment, and hours of work, and random event items, but then of course, we could then justify it by saying, "you were f2p when you got it, so you don't deserve it, so we'll just take it away from you." so you couldn't wield anything you had in the bank probably, unless you became f2p at an extremely low level. You'd lose, hours, weeks, months, maybe even years of work. Then also, many people would be angry because they couldn't pk in f2p anymore. Or they can't sell members items for more profit in f2p, or they'd never see a lot of friends ever again. Now let's say that there never was a f2p, and tutorial Island was p2p. How many people do you think would be playing runescape now? A lot less I think, they won't pay for a game they've never played. And that would be a lot less money in jagex pocket. So why don't you rethink you're thoughts about f2p, then give a civil response.
  5. Ya, and you also probably became a member at lvl 26 or something, and now you'll just say no because you want to try and prove me wrong, but typically, the people who don't notice, are the ones who have had no experience with it in the past. And if you have maged in the wildy at higher levels, then you probably pked with friends, because a one on one fight sucks as a mage. Ya, that's why if you were to actually read the entire thing, you would notice the probability of each happening in parentheses Ya, but you aren't everyone, and there are more powerful mage robes in members, and there is also ancient magics, and wands, and numerous other things. Most people join for the 120+ quests, more armor, more bankspace, minigames, treasure trails, new and expanded skills, etc. The point I'm getting at is if you're a member, then you wouldn't drop it for better mage robes, because you'd still have better robes, and spells. If you do, than you are a fool. Ya, I think a lot of us have more integrity than you though Ya, I never said it was their problem, I said it was a reason why some people aren't members Some people don't have a pc though, it's called the library, or a friends house, and just because you are old enough (13 years old) it doesn't mean that you have the money, a lot of people don't get an allowance, and they can't get a job, because they don't have a permit (if you're in the U.S.), or they are in extra curriculars. Less (because we pay through updates), like I said, is still good enough for 1-2 non-graphical updates a year.
  6. 1. Not all f2p is autoers, and hardly any are scum, I could call a fair number of p2ps that I've met scum, but I won't, you know why? Because I'm more controlled than them, there are numerous members who come onto f2p servers just to call f2pers noobs because they are f2p, and they say they are better than us. Also, there are those who overprice their objects immensly, like once I caught a p2p trying to scam a f2p for 6 mill for polished buttons, which have no use 2. F2p contributes in 3 ways: 1. Economy: Participatiing in it, and buying/selling with members 2. Helping others: there are many who play the game well, and will help if asked, that helps numerous players, and sets a great example! 3. Ads: nuff said
  7. just go out and earn money, chop trees, mine coal/iron/mith, craft leather/other items, you can skill and make cash.
  8. CONGRATULATIONS!     YOU ARE THE 100TH SUPPORTER!!! YOU GET...NOTHING...SORRY, ALL I CAN GIVE IS A PAT ON THE BACK. GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!! ALSO, I'm almost done completely updating/revamping the proposal, the only part left is re-organizing the argument defense.
  9. Uhhh...sure (hands over some pot), and here's five dollars, go get a happy meal :D , and bring me a shake, now I won't go any further off topic.
  10. I'm back for a while, so I'm going to update the proposal and add to the support list, but I'll ge to the arguments, accusations, and problems in a bit.
  11. 1. Ya, some people are immature, you have to get used to that though, people being immature doesn't justify saying that f2p doesn't deserve bank space. Also, if you take a game, and put a free version, and a p2p version, of course there are going to be more immature people on the free version. Why? Because if they get banned it doesn't matter. BUt there are those that truly are trying to play the game as respectable players, they deserve the space. Anyways, I've met my fair share of p2p players that are jerks just like there are a fair share of good ones. 2. No one ever said p2p doesn't need more, no one says anything, because eventually, we know they'll get more. But the problem is, as jagex expands their game, everyonce in a while, things will pop up available to f2p through p2p, and that takes up space, along with new randoms, rares people buy, armor, and numerous other things, such as cooking supplies. Thats why we are talking about f2p bank, and not p2p, because the p2p problem will be solved one week when they get another 2-3 rows, all we're asking, is a completed row, or another 10 spaces, it's not that much, it's not like we're stealing anything from you, so you shouldn't have any problem with it, it's a small update to make things easier.
  12. I've counted up how many slots you NEED (in bold in your quote) to play this game robustly and it comes to... drumroll please... 43 And F2P has 60. That is plenty. One mage outfit, one range outfit, one melee outfit, and a combination of runes and staves to cover all spell-casting. You don't need all ores, bars, log types. You don't NEED any more than the number listed above. If you want a wide range of options and fancy clothing and other luxuries... it costs $5/month. Problem solved. You can ask the admins to close your thread. Horrible, just horrible, that was the worst assumption I've seen someone make. 1. You put 0 for random events, thats easily another, lets see here (Forester +5 I believe, zombie is +5, frogs is a +3, Demon drill seargent is +4-5, right? mime is +5) Without adding in anything else yet, that is already over the alotted 60 spaces, its 22-23 spaces plus your 43 that we need, which comes to 65 to 66 2. Trimmed armors/rares: Now we must account for these, There are phats +1, Santas +1, Masks +1, and at least 1 set of trimmed armor + 3-4, people would like to have one these That adds 1-5 spaces (assuming someone has two, like me), bringing the new amount to 70! Must I continue??? Hopefully not
