Now that I have your attention, here's my idea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was playing runescape a few days ago, and I thought, what good does a brown apron do, besides get you into the crafting guild. So I though about it for a while, then it hit me, why not make it so that you can store tools inside of it, to save space in your backpack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So heres the full idea:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Have it so that there are puches in the apron, there are 2-3 pouches.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These pouches can be used to store small crafting/smithing items (like chisels, hammers, needle, thread, molds, and members crafting tools, etc).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How does it help:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It saves you a little bit of backpack and bankspace. So in a way, it would also help with smithing/crafting faster, because, you'd be able to take more bars/materials in your backpack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How do you put stuff in your apron:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You have your apron off, then you use tools with it, and then it would have a message telling how many open spaces, you have left in the apron, then once you have the tools you want in it, you just wear it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What could not be put in:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pickaxes, balls of wool, buckets, ores, clay, or other resources/large objects.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How to be obtained (credid to Irish_Geek):

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can be obtained when you enter the crafting guild at lvl 40, then you woud pay a small fee of 50-700 gp in order to get this

On a side note: this is not exactly like the pocket slot idea, because its just adding some usefullness to the crafting apron, it has more pockets/pouches and it conserves banspace. And also, when I came up ith this, I didn't know about the pocket slot idea, if I did, I probably would not have made this, but people seem to like it anyways, so I hope you do too :) .

It probably could be both, couldn't it? I mean there could be the options for members to attach more pockets, but they all start out with 2-4?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I mean, this improves the game all around, it saves bank and backpack space, and right now, f2p bankspace is a large issue, as we have little. This could help improve it.

Now, while I'm still talking, I ned to checko on something, to see what you guys think, I plan to expand the suggestion more, to help save more bank space.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here goes,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stands for armor, like the ones you see around runescape, you could pay 5-30k to the bank, and then they would install a stand for your melee armor. You could keep a platebody, platelegs, a full helm, and a kite on it, condensing four spaces into one. and then, you just click on your armor stand, to get the option to "remove armor from stand", then you can put it back on whe you arent using it, all you have to do is click to store it in your bank, like you usually do, and it'll go straight to the stand.

But then again, what if you had different items stored in different aprons, would they stack? If you had too many different items in the different aprons you have (I don't know why anyone would have more than one though), they would have to take up many bank spaces. :cry:

i think there was another topic about how dhide legs should be able to hold some arrows, that was a good idea, but this a even better idea

they wouldn't be stackable, but it would remove the need for multiples, if all you have to do is pull on an apron, and right now, there are only like 5 main tools (shears, hammer, chisel, needle, thread) and I'll probably extend the amount of pockets to 5, and remove the ability to hold molds from this, otherwise, there would have to be like 10 pockets.

You could always just make it an untradable, only able to have one at a time item. Maybe gotten from the crafting guild, for a small fee...

2. We already have bankspace, and this isn't saying add more, it's saying that it would make a good ingame update, and also, it would free up our current bankspace, that way everyone's bank is less crowded

 

 

 

3. No offense, but f2p does pay a little bit, through ads, and that little bit, is worth an occasional, once or twice a year update for f2p. It's not like it makes everyone want to leave p2p, especially since they could probably add more pockets themselves in p2p. It's an update that benefits everyone, and improves gameplay.

I wish I could make a petition for all f2pers and make them not play for 2-3 weeks. You would see how much you need us.the f2pers are the base of the economy and with more bank space the f2p and p2p economy will be improved.

1. I don't like it, a bit too powerful. I mean, you could bring guthans and veracs to the duel arena at the same time and own everybody, and use only 2 spaces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. If it was added, shouldn't it hold ranged and mage gear too? Might overpower, but it'll overpower without those.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. The thing with this ENTIRE idea is that is you can bring combat stuff or even food, the wilderness would become un-balanced.

1. You can't leave the bank with it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. If number 1 was added, the second problem would disappear.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Still, you should keep away from combat related mass storage.
