World Select......why not Detail Select?

Featured Replies

Well, you all know about the World Select button on the login screen. This has helped a lot of people, so I thought, "Wait, shouldn't there be a Detail Select as well?"

My reasoning for this is that from the homepage, we have to click the detail select, and THEN the world. So, if we are lagging on high detail, we have to go to the homepage, choose low detail, and then choose the world again. By this time, that world might be full.

I personally think this will be very useful, just a small button next to the world select, "High Detail - Click to switch" or "Low Detail, click to switch". I think that this will save a lot of time.

Also, I think, with the World Select and everything, it could be quicker just to go from the "Click here to play" on the homepage to loading the game, and then you have to choose which world and detail you want from there.

Or you could take 4 seconds of your life to click 2-3 more times...

Clicking the switch and everything would take just as much time as doing it the way it is now, changing it would be useless.
