I was thinking about this the other day, and I came up with a concept you might try and illustrate...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try maybe making the feather have that fiery phoenix attribute, but then make it into a quill pen. This would illustrate both the Fenix part of the word, and (if done correctly) would also show the Design part of the name. That might be something fun to play with.

first one is a lot nicer, i don't really like how the blue looks. nice idea keilpus, if done correctly, it'll look really, really nice.

I like the 2nd one more - I don't know nearly as much as others but too me it just looks better (without the connotations (sp?) of being new fresh company etc)
