March 29, 200719 yr Well I am saying good-bye to my beloved Tandon PAC-286 (Andek 1280 Monitor, Logitech Mouse and Card, original KeyBoard) I payed $3003 for it all back in 1987. I can't seem to find any Information about it. I would like to know prices in todays market and maybe even a Site to sell it on.
March 29, 200719 yr Author I really would rather sell it on a Site where I know it is going to a good home... It is rather rare and in almost new condition.
March 30, 200719 yr Could try contacting these peeps http://www.obsoletecomputermuseum.org/ http://www.computerhistory.org/ While rare, its probably not worth very much unless it actually played a major part in the progress of home computing. March 30, 200719 yr Most notable for those enormous Datapac 30MB drives... try sticking one of those in a pocket, not like a USB key!
March 30, 200719 yr Author I am not looking for money as much as just a place that will have fun with it (Still runs great!) and will not have baby[cabbage] on it in a week. It only has 1 Datapac 30MB Harddrive. (that you can remove from PC right out of the front) Just for history's sake I also have a Nixie Tube Clock. (Not getting rid of that) And the monitor is the first (or close to it) 1280x1024 capable personal monitor.
