Boris5000
I have been puzzled over that fact that when you are wood-cutting you would click on the tree and get about 7 logs before it desapears and you wait for it to be respawned. But whe mining, you mine one ore per rock. Meaning you have to move around to another rock. Although I have given some thought about autoers :-k It would make the game far to easy for them because they would change their macro's timing. It would also make the game easier for the miners and smithers... Luck be a Lady
kelbri
I can't say that I understand this either, but here is what I am thinking... The reasoning that I can see, is that there are far more types of rocks to mine, than there are types of trees to cut (especially in f2p). Also, look at willows (where most people skill wood cutting). There are not very many willow trees, and they are always lots of people (and autoers) cutting. If you only got one log per tree, then it would take forever to get anywhere with your wood cutting level. On the other hand, there are usually plenty of rocks to mine at, of the same kind, in one area, and there are quite a few areas to mine at. Just my two cents (if it makes any sense). :?:
blinkfenix
i also pondered it i think it would be better if u got multiple ores from one rock

Freesia
A firm NO from me. Both mining and wc are totally different skills and work differently. If multiple ores are introduced, ore market can be killed easily. 5 rune ores from 1 spawned rock would make rune mining more unfair, the miner who got the rune ore first gets rich fast. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

I think things are nice as they are now. Keep rocks and trees as they are. What about people with 85 mining? They'll go to the Wilderness and mine very easier. Runite prices will go down, coal, iron, etc. I don't want this game to be a pain. Just think it is nice the way it is now.
Zaaps1
Would make powermining so much faster, but would make the benefit from powermining so much smaller. It would ultimately reduce prices on ores, which is not bad for smithers, but for the rest of us.... ~It's Super Effective! NJE03
Would make powermining so much faster, but would make teh benefit from powermining so much smaller. It would ultimately reduce prices on ores, which is not bad 4 smithers, but 4 teh rest of us.... I don't know about that, I think it would actually benefit both the miners and smith. Yes, the prices would indeed go down BUT the speed at which you acquire ores would be increased which would in turn even it out in my mind.
