I believe its either 15 or 16 with fire bolt

you can find out the max hit of a spell with the skill calculator because it's in parenthesis, but with the guantlets, it doen't raise it a whole lot, maybe 3-4 more.

Just got back from iron dragons using fire bolt with guantlets, max I hit was 15...
