Errdoth
Okay, so, most of my "art" since ahs been sketches on paper or photography. But I tried to pixel today. It probably could have been a lot better, if it hadn't been done a laptops trackpad, but hey. Anyways, what I really want are suggestions. Go ahead flame me all you want, so long as you at least give me a little tip. The body is kinda weird because I did it in different portions, and then later tried to connect them, so, yeah. I took the inspiration from the way I found my brother this morning, he was in this same position. Coffee spilled too. I think there could've been more to thebackground, and may yet be, but I tried to add a beanbag and it looked kind of cluttered. Plus, my beanbag sucked. If anyone can teach/direct me on how to draw hands and a face. I would absolutely fall down at your knees. I disguised my "stups" with the book and iPod, and turned the face away. Smapla
Pixel art is created by placing each pixel one at a time, and not using tools like gradients, automatic antialiasing, brushes, etc.

Exbaj
A pixel art would be pixelated, meaning each pixel which is a measurement on computers to be filled in, one at a time to create something presentable. Yours tends to use tools that help the user to create a picture, but without having to worry about looking at each square to make things such as shading and the such. As for the picture I like the effects on the ground, and the sky I guess umm but yeah the person simply doesn't mix with the picture well enough as in not looking 3d at all, especially without any face or hands, it makes it hard to work out what's going on. You pointed out most of the problems, so yeah I'll leave with that said coz my arms getting sore. 99 / 99 Mining 89 / 99 Smithing 87 / 90 Strength SKILL TOTAL: 1836 / 2000
terley
Pixel art is a form of art created digitally (on a computer) using only limited techniques (pure), which means no automatic filters, everything must be manually pixelled. Anything placed must be placed for a particular reason that effects the overall image when viewed at 100%, any automatic AAing is not seen as pure pixel art because it calculates and adds new pixels without any decision from yourself, eliminating careful placement. Don't do pixel art just because everyone else seems to be doing it, its a fad to most people here. Maybe you would prefer other forms of digital art?
