Anyone embedding music in a web page (ala myspace) should be banned from the internet for life (or at least until they turn 18). It's annoying as all hell.

This being a help site, a quick google search would have told you how to do this.

If you really must put music in a page consider the fact that not everybody has a fast internet conection. If you put a big mp3 file to load everytime somebody visits the page it will take a long time to load (and may make people find a better site) and it will make your bandwidth usage higher.

There are some people that if they visit a website which forces music on them will close the window never to return.

If you really NEED to have music on your site (and remember that it must be your own or you could be accountable for copyright abuse) then use one of those sites that put a little flash player on your site that people can play and stop it on demand rather than embedding it directly into the page where it will download and use up both your and your users bandwidth even if they dont want to hear it.
