Clue Scrolls and Wealths.

Featured Replies

I know that they don't increase the chances of a wealth but do they lower them at all?

Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....

I would guess so because the percentage chance of getting a rarer item would increase, which means that another item's percentage would have to be lowered to keep the total percentage at 100%. I hope that makes sense :?

Yeah... What i was going to say.

For example; Rare drop 1 could be like 50%, clue 50%, then when you wear a wealth, it would be, Rare drop 1 60%, clue 40%.

Thats just an example.

Yeah but I post this because sometimes I get normal drops with the clues so I didn't know if clues were not considered a normal drop.

Ring of wealth does not affect chance of clue scroll drop. It is totally seperate from "normal" drops

I think now that it drops along with other things, as it seems to be independant on it's own.

Like you said, it doesn't increase, but wearing a wealth shouldn't replace the chance of getting one with a different drop now.

If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.

Interesting question, I'd have to agree with the guys on here with decreasing. You should bring this to JaGeX.

I heard that wealth doesnt affect the chances of clue scrolls.

wealth increases the chance of getting a rarer item, because clue scrolls are valued at 0 gp it should decrease the chances of getting one

however i have also noticed that clue scrolls are dropped along with a normal drop so perhaps it doesnt affect the rate

good question to send to jagex

[omg] who cares if its nerfed or fixed....

you people will argue over the color of a green apple if it was a topic on this fourm god.

who says clues aren't a rare item ?

And who said rarity is related to an items shop value :?

rarer drops are generally more expensive, jagex uses shop price to determine rarer items so a ring of wealth would not increase the chance of a clue scroll because it has 0 shop value even if it is a semirare drop
