Well i've seen the excellent change to the layout in Help and Advice, very nice i must say, but i thought it may be a benificial for the Money-Making, Monster, Item, NPC Help subforum, to have a few AOW Guides, or Player Made Guides, at the top on how to make money/merchant.

 

 

 

Heres a few example's from the AOW;

 

 

 

Hellbellz Merchanting Guide.

 

 

 

Wurm's Moneymaking Booklet - Format Revamped!

 

 

 

 

 

And a few from the Player Made Guides;

 

 

 

Fury Merchanting/Store Selling Guide!

 

 

 

Guide to make 1 mil within 2 weeks

 

 

 

All you need to know about unid money making.

 

 

 

Now there are loads more guides out there, but they're are just a few.

 

 

 

What you could have, is a sticky at the top of the Sub-Forum, titled, 'Have you looked here?', or 'Need help making money? These may help'...

 

 

 

By doing this, provided atleast 4% of the people who are about to post look at it, you're hopefully doing two things atleast;

 

 

 

1) Letting them into information they may not have known before/thought about before. Or, given them better ideas to make money.

 

 

 

2) Stopping the amount of posts which ask the same questions; 'How to turn X to Y', or 'What to do with X money', or 'I need Y from X'.

 

 

 

I know that not every question can be answered or every problem solved from all the Guides, but they will hopefully let people think before posting, and give them more and maybe better ideas on what to do/make.

 

 

 

Just a simple suggestion, and feedback/thoughts are always nice.

That sounds like a good idea, or even just copy the four or so guides and sticky them there.

I like this idea, but wouldn't it be better to just put each of the guides as a tab (those hide things) instead of providing a link?

You could get the codes for the guides, and then [hide=How to make moolah]So you want to be rich, eh? [/hide] them on one sticky.

 

 

 

People could just drop the one they need.
