Disclaimer: It is simply too hard to keep up with the current market value of every single item I write about. So, if you wish to know the current market value of the item, the most accurate way to get its price is to browse the official RuneScape forums. -Thank You, Wurmy

Important Notice: Something happened and unfortunately, part of my guide has been cut off for some reason. Because of this, some sections have been lost and the guide will be continued in the 4th post of this thread. I am VERY sorry to the people who contributed to the guide as the Acknowledgements & Credits portion has been lost as well.

Format Revamp! To make the guide easier to read, I have revamped the text formats. I hope it makes it easier and more pleasant to read.

1.0. Introduction

Hey guys, this is my very first guide so I hope you go easy on me. Well, ever since I started RuneScape I wanted lots of things. One of which was money. Now, I knew that it wasn't going to be easy. It was going to be challenging. So, from the moment I started playing I vowed never to beg or cheat for GP. It's really simple, why not use the time that you could use for begging for making money that you worked for. A simple but true saying, below are a few ways I have made money with in the past. The guide WAS divided into different sections. However, due to the TIF community I have been able to updgrade the guide to become a 4 section guide. One where I will show you the ways through Combat/Skill another where I will show you through Merchanting and the last but not least through running (yes apparently your feet can make you cash) +business moneymaking. Now, enough with the talk and on to the guide! I hope you enjoy it and I'll appreciate any help or spelling corrections that you may find and I assure you that you will be credited. Note that the methods I have listed below are listed in no specific sequence. Also, no part of this guide can be recreated or reproduced in anyway unless you have been granted permission by me.

1.1. How to find sections quickly

By just looking at the guide you will see that its a mess and that its like a junkyard to manage through. Its big and for this I will use a code so you will be able to navigate through easily. In the table of contents you'd have seen codes on the left. To find the section you are looking for press Ctrl+F and, using the Table of Contents as a guideline type in the code to the corresponding section you want to find. Now all you need to do is click Find and it will automatically take you to your desired destination. Note that you may have to click the find button twice. Say for example, I want to find the section in which it tells me how to make money through collecting Unids. I press Ctrl+F and look at the reference number in the table of contents. I punch in [2.2*] (The real section is without the asterix) and click Find Next twice to get there.

2.0. Skilling/Combat Moneymaking

In this section of the guide, you will find ways to make money through skills and combat. Although this isn't the fastest way, it is still effective and through high-enough levels you can make heaps of money. Remember doing this will be risk-free and kind to your total/combat levels.

2.1. Chicken Feather Collecting (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirement(s): A combat level of 10+ and decent weapons and armor.

Recommended: A combat level of 20+.

Method: Go to a chicken coop and start killing 'em chickens! There are two chicken coops around Lumbridge shown on the map below.

chickenfeathercollectingjp9.png

You will have no problem finding them at all. It's basically kill them then pick up their dropped feathers, they drop them in increments of 5,10 or 15 but they are not a 100% drop(sadly). You can easily make 5-25K+ an hour depending on your combat level.

Where and how much to sell for: Once you have a considerable amount of feathers(1K+) it's time to sell them. You must be firm when selling these so do NOT go below 10GP each. Even if you're not a member go take a look at the official forum's 'Fletching' section. There is usually one or more posts buying large amounts of feathers for 10GP each. Send a private message to the person in-game and simply say that you are F2P and that he must meet you where you can go.

Tips 'n Tricks:

Notes: A great way to make money at lower levels.

2.2. Unidentified Herb Collecting (P2P only)

Requirements: A combat level of 50+ and the ability to brave the level 2-3 wilderness.

Recommended: 1-5 Glory Amulets and the ability to use the Fountain of Heroes inside the Heroe's Guild.

Method: Head to Edgeville and gear up. Have a decent weapon and take out ONLY 2 pieces of equipment as you run the risk of being PKed. After that it is your choice to withhdraw food and varrock teleport runes, but if you are below the combat level of 70 then I suggest to bring 1-3 lobsters and have a teleport handy. When you are done, go south of the bank and down the trapdoor. From where you are when you climb down, head north until you come to a gate that leads east. Go through the gate until you come across a 3-way intersection. There is only one path with a gate and that is wear you are going to be going. When you go through that gate you will be in the wildy (Level 1-2). Walk up the path and turn westward the first chance you can to find the druids. Once there chop

up the level 13 Chaos Druids. These guys will be the ones you are going to kill for the Unids. They drop them often, are agressive ( I personally think this is a good thing) and respawn often. Once you have a full inventory of unids head on back to Edgeville and bank them. By doing this, the pay is around 100K+ per hour once again depending on your combat level.

Where and how much to sell for: Unids sell for 1K-1.2K each depending on the number of stacks (11-12 preferably) and the total quantity. To sell these go to world 2 and type in that you're selling Unids for 1K each. I found that the most effective way to sell in world 2 is to turn public chat on "hide" mode and type this:

"Selling (number of Unids) 1K each! -(username)"

You will usually find a buyer in the first 10 minutes you are there, but if you are having difficulty take a trip to the 'Herblore' section of the forums and find a buyer there.

Tips 'n Tricks: It's good to bring teleport runes because of the PKers that hang around that area. Also, to make your trips faster you may find it good to glory ammy tele to Edgeville Bank instead of walking, however you must be a member of the heroe's guild and have around 3+ glories if possible.

Notes: A good way for recent members to make some cash and highly suggested for those who have low combat and may have low skills.

2.3. Big Bone Collecting (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: A combat level of 60+ and a Brass Key

Recommended: An armor set of Addy or above.

Method: Armed with your Brass Key, weapons and armor head to the little house marked on the map.

bbonecollectingzw4.png

Use your key with the door to unlock it. Head down the ladder and then south to a large cave with lots of Hill Giants. These level 26's are the one's you're wanting to kill for their Big Bones. At times, this place can get quite crowded but if you're fast enough you won't need to worry. With the vast amount of monsters the cave holds the hill giants will provide you with excellent income and good training. You can make around 25K-150K with this method but it does require a significant combat level to actually make a good income out off.

Where and how much to sell for: Since these bones are not really popular with members because they have dragon bones, looking at the forums is not recommended. To sell, go to world 1 Varrock West Bank and sell these for no less than 350 each. The specific place for B Bones is west of Varrock West Bank itself inbetween the walls of the bank and the walls of Varrock itself.

Tips 'n Tricks: When killing Hill Giants it is good to have run on at all times. This will help you get to Hill Giants before other people do and will usually help you in gain 5-30 more B Bones per hour. It is also a good thing to sell B Bones when you have 1K+ of them because people find it convinient to buy them in bulk. If you do sell in bulk, you can expect to sell them for 350-450 each.

Notes: Depending on the number of people online that day, this is either a decent or bad money making method. Because of this, I strongly will recommend you to stay away from this place on weekends. Also, to get a Brass Key buy it from Varrock West Bank for around 500GP-2K from other players. Otherwise you can head to Edgeville Dungeon and find one yourself. Here is a map of the dungeon for reference.

edgevilledungeonmappn7.gif

2.4. Cowhide Collecting (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: A combat level of 15+.

Recommended: Finished Prince Ali Rescue Quest and a combat level of 30+.

Method: Go to any of these two cow pens shown below that also have a banking route which is marked white.

cowhidecollectingir5.png

Note that the first one will require you to bank in Al-Kharid, to do that you must have 20GP to go out and in. However, if you have finished the Prince Ali Rescue then there is no entrance fee. When you reach the pen start butchering the cows and take their Cowhides ONLY. Don't bother with their bones or meat, as soon as you have a full inventory bank and repeat. It's easy and fast and by doing this, F2P can make up to 10-25K+ an hour depending on combat level.

Where and how much to sell for: To quickly sell these, head to world 1 Al-Kharid Bank and you will always find people buying all cowhides for 100GP each. For F2P this is a good price to sell for. However if you want a bit more, gather them in bulk (1K+) and go to the 'Crafting' section on the official forums and you may be able to find buyers for up to 150 each.

Tips 'n Tricks: It's easiest to sell these in bulk (1K+) and to get more money out of this collect them in bulk then sell.

Notes: Easy, straight-forward and a reliable way to make money for low level F2P players.

1.5. Mining

A2. Rune Essence Mining (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: Finished Rune Mysteries Quest.

Recommended: A mining level of 30 or above and an Addy Pickaxe or Rune Pickaxe.

Method: Once you have finished the Rune Mysteries Quest, head on down to Varrock West Bank and equip your pickaxe and bank all your items and armor. Then, walk or run to the Varrock Rune Shop which is directly south of the bank. When you are there, right-click Aubury (the rune shop owner in brown clothing) and select the 'Teleport Aubury' option to be teleported into the Rune Essence Mines. If it's your first time you'll be in the middle of what looks like a 4-way intersection with the paths leading northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest. The area is quite easy to get used to, each of the four paths lead to a large rune ess rock. If you mine it, you will continously keep hitting it with your pick until your inventory is filled or you click away. Once you have a full inventory, there is a small portal on the other side of any of the 4 Rune Ess rocks. Use those to get back to the rune shop. Walk to the bank and repeat. Doing this, money sums of up to 15K can be made per hour.

When and how much to sell for: Obtaining 1K of these isn't a hard task at all so in result, they aren't expensive and if they aren't expensive then they are bought in massive amounts always (no less than 1000 at a time). So once you have mined 1K+ of these, the place to sell is world 1 Varrock West Bank. Selling these isn't quite a challenge but they have dropped in price due to the recent Pure Essence update so they are less desired. Because of this the price has dropped to 15GP-20GP each and that's how much you'll be aiming to sell for. If you have more than 10K then you might be able to find a person buying hundreds of thousands of Rune Ess on the 'Runes' section of the official forums for 25-30GP each.

Tips 'n Tricks: If you are a new player and doing this for money, you can find that repetitive mining trips WILL get boring. I used to read guides and browse the forums while doing things like these, so I gained a bit of money and quite a bit of knowledge as well.

Notes: A very very simple of way of making money that low levels may find the best way at this point of their accounts. However, it is not recommended for people above the combat level of 30 as there are faster and much better ways of cash making.

B2. Pure Essence Mining (P2P only)

Requirements: A mining level of 30+ and an Addy pickaxe.

Recommended: Level 50+ Mining and a Rune Pickaxe.

Method: Do the same thing as the method of Rune Essence tells you to. Although the cash per hour is 40-100K.

Where and how much to sell for: The prices for these essence have rise alot since their release. As of now, these cost 100 each for bulk of 1K-9K and 110 each for 10K+. Since they are quite high in demand these will be easy to sell. You can sell these in Edgeville or in the 'Runes' Section of the forum in a couple of minutes.

Tips 'n Tricks: See A. Rune Essence Mining above.

Notes: Great way for starting members to make cash as these are easy to mine, high in demand and don't require a high level to obtain.

C2. Iron Ore Mining (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 15 Mining.

Recommended: 40 Mining and a Rune Pickaxe.

Method: Head to an iron mining spot that is near to a bank or not usually crowded. A few good spots are the Al-Kharid mining pit north of Al-Kharid palace, the Falador Mines, Varrock East or West Mine or the Rimmington Mines. It's pretty straight-forward here so start mining. Unfortunately, unlike mining Rune Essence you can't read the forums or multi-task because these rocks are fairly easy to mine and dissapear immediately after you get one ore from it. When you have a full inventory bank and repeat. The pay is 25-60K an hour.

Where and how much to sell for: Selling these is quite easy. Go to world 1 Falador East Bank and almost everytime somebody will be buying all Iron Ores for 100GP each. Iron Ore is high in demand so it is quite easy to sell, remember to not sell them for less than 100 each. If you are having trouble or cannot find a buyer jump over to world 3 and look there. If you still cannot find a buyer then head to the official forums 'Ores & Bars' section and look for someone there.

Tips 'n Tricks: If you cannot find an empty mining spot keep jumping worlds until you find a good world to mine on. Also, to keep you from getting bored grab an MP3 or anything and listen to music! This really kills the time and before you know it, you'll have mined a couple of 100's of ores.

Notes: A decent way to make money for all levels, eventually you'll reach higher and higher mining levels so that you will be able to mine faster and easier.

D2. Coal Ore Mining (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 30 Mining.

Recommended: 75 Mining and a rune pickaxe.

Method: First of all find a mining area where you can mine coal, some great spots I know are the Lumbridge Swamp Mines, Barbarian Village or if you can the Mining Guild. Mine and bank mine and bank there's nothing to it, the rocks ARE quite hard to mine even at high mining levels, but at level 75 mining you'll find that there's a remarkable mining time difference as compared to lower levels. Depending on your luck of how much people are on at that time the pay can either be more or less then Iron Ore mining wage.

Where and how much to sell for: See C. Iron Mining, coal however goes for 150 each in numbers below 1000. And 180-200 each for bulk of 1K+.

Tips 'n Tricks: See C. Iron Mining.

Notes: See C. Iron Mining.

2.6. Smithing

E2. Steel Bar Smithing (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 30 Smithing.

Recommended: Around 500K starting cash.

Method: Buy 1K Iron Ore and 2K Coal for the least amount of money you can or mine it yourself (mind you this takes time). When you are done with that head on over to Al-Kharid Bank and get ready to be bored. First of all, take out all your weapons and armor and bank them to make yourself as lightweight as possible. Then, place your coal ore and iron ore stacks side-by-side each other at the top of your bank. Right click on the Iron and select the withdraw 10 option and then right click on the Coal and and select the withdraw all option. Head to the furnace and left click on the furnace, you should be presented with a table of bars you can smith. Right click the Steel Bars and select the 'Smelt 10' button. After you have smelted your entire inventory head back and repeat. Depending on how fast you are, you can make 25K-70K per hour and efficient smithing experience. The profit is 100K for every 1000 Steel Bars made.

Where and how much to sell for: To sell, head to world 1 or 3 and sell these at 600 each. Usually some people will be buying all Steel Bars for 600 each. If you cannot sell then head to the 'Ores & Bars' forums to find someone who would buy them.

Tips 'n Tricks: Watching your character bend over and place his hands over a furnace IS very very very boring. I suggest to browse the forums or watch TV while you do this.

Notes: If you are F2P this is a great way to make some extra cash and gain smithing levels efficiently.

F2. Cannonball Smithing (P2P only)

Requirements: Finished the Dwarf Cannon Quest, a Cannonball Mould and 35 Smithing.

Recommended: Around 500K-600K starting cash and Boots of Lightness

Method: Here your road splits off into two. For the first method you basically buy the 1K Iron and Coal Ore yourself then smith them into Steel Bars and from there smelt them into cannonballs. To smelt them into cannonballs, head on over to Al-Kharid or Port Phasmatys and un-equip everything you have on you. Withdraw your Cannonball Mould and 27 Steel Bars, walk to the furnace and left-click on it. This will bring up a window showing you the things you can make, smelt all of the bars into C-Balls then walk over to the bank and repeat. For the second method you immediately buy the Steel Bars and then smelt them into C-Balls but its basically the same. For the first method the profit is 300K-220K for every 1000 Steel Bars you turn into C-Balls, for the second method the profit is 120K-200K for every 1000 Steel Bars you smelt into C-Balls. Like this you gain extremely fast smithing experience while at the same time 50K+ an hour.

Where and how much to sell for: Generally C-Balls are VERY HARD TO SELL. But if you are dilligent then you can easily find buyers. Go to world 2 and advertise your cannonballs on the encircled area shown on the map below or head to the forums.

cannonballsellingareawt5.png

Cannonballs go for 180-200 each at the time of writing.

Tips 'n Tricks: Watching your character bend over and place his hands over a furnace IS very very very boring. I suggest to browse the forums or watch TV while you do this.

Notes: The overall best way to get smithing experience as a P2P player because you make money on your way as well.

2.7. Dragon Hunting

G2. Green Dragons (P2P only)

Requirements: A combat level of 90+, Anti-Dragon Fire Shield, a decent weapon and the ability to brave the level 15-20 wildy and food.

Recommended: The ability to use Carrallangar Teleport and access to the Heroe's Guild and Glory Amulets and finally the ability to wield Full Black D' Hide.

Method: There are two good Green Dragon spots, both of which are in the wildy. Pick one out of these two in this map.

dragonhuntingmapqi2.png

Once you have chosen one, withdraw your decent weapon, your Glory amulet (If you have any) and any other items in which you are going to be killing these Green Dragons with. I strongly suggest that your armor is something that is relatively cheap and has above 50 magic defence such as D'Hide. When you are done choosing your equipment withdraw 5-10 Lobbies depending on your combat level and walk to your destination. When you reach there start killing the dragons and pick up their Dragon Bones and Hides. When you have a full inventory, take out your Glory and teleport to Edgeville or walk there. Once you are there bank and repeat. Although this may sound simple, it is very efficient money. 100K-500K per hour can be made by doing this however there is a risk of being PKed. Alternatively, you could take an axe (bronze will do) and head to the canoe station right of Edgeville Bank. From there, chop the station and paddel your way to the wilderness. You will find yourself beside a pool of water. Around this area is where you can also slay Green Dragons.

Where and how much to sell for: D Bones generally go for 2.5K-2.7K each and Hides are 1.4K-1.5K each in almost any quantity over 30. These are high in demand and not very hard to sell at all. Jump to world 2 and you can ususally find numerous people buying D Bones and Hides right beside the entrance of Falador East Bank.

Tips 'n Tricks: To make your trips faster you can use the Carrallangar Teleport to be teleported into the Graveyard of Shadows which is directly south of the green dragon area encircled blue on the map above.

Notes: An efficient way for higher levels to make money and train their combat at once.

H2. Blue Dragons (P2P only)

Ranging Method

Requirements: A ranged level of 50+, arrows preferable iron+ and a Dusty Key.

Recommended: Finished the Watchtower quest and a ranged level of 70+.

Method: There are two ways you can do this... You can either hunt them in the Tavelry Dungeon or at the Ogre Enclave. For Tavelry Dungeon bring your ranging equipment, your Dusty Key and Fally Teleport runes and go climb down the ladder leading to the dungeon just south of Tavelry. Once you are down there, go north until you reach a gate on the eastern wall. Go through it and you'll find yourself in the middle of an intersection with a cauldron in the middle. Open the south gate and continue along that path until you reach a fork. Walk through the southern path of the fork and follow the 1-way path until you reach a bridge. Walk over the bridge and another until you come across a jail door with Lesser Demons wandering around it. Open it using your Dusty Key and that is the chamber you will find the level 111 Blue Dragons in. When you are there start ranging! Hide behind the safespots there which you can observe if you watch other people do it. Pick their hides and bones and when you have a full inventory tele out to repeat. The pay is around 50K-250K per hour depending on range level. For the more faster, more efficient way of Blue Drag hunting you must first finish the Watchtower quest to have access to the Ogre Enclave (the cave where the Ogre Shaman are). Bring the same equipment as you do with the Blue Drags at Tavelry except leave the Fally Teleport runes and Dusty Key behind. The safespots are pretty easy to spot here, all you need to do is trap a pillar (stalagmite or stalactite) between you and the dragon to successfully range it without getting hurt. Pick up all the bones and hides and walk out the cavern at the other side of the cave to find yourself inbetween the CW arena and Yanille. Bank and repeat. Now the money is 150-300K an hour because the trips are shorter and always less crowded.

Where and how much to sell for: The bones are already explained in Green Drag mini-section of the guide. As for the hides they go for up to 1.8K each. To sell the hides simply head to the 'Crafting' section of the official forums and find a buyer there.

Tips 'n Tricks: Bring 1 Lobby or any type of food just incase you accidently get burnt.

Notes: A great way to earn money and range experience at the same time. Whoever said training range was a money-pit?

Halberding Method

Requirements: A halberd preferrably rune or dragon, Dusty Key, and a strength level of 60+.

Recommended: 2 Water, 3 Earth and 1 Body Rune (Curse Spell 19 Mage Required), a strength level of 70+ and completed the Watchtower Quest.

Method: Like the ranging method mentioned above head to a Blue Dragon killing location. When you have reached your destination find a good safespot and then put your 'Run' on. Now, go out and smack a dragon with your halberd. When you have, run back to your safespot AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. When you have successfully trapped an object or obstacle between you and the angry dragon :ohnoes: start killing it.

Bank and repeat.

Where and how much to sell for: See above.

Tips 'n Tricks: Instead of smacking the dragon with your hally risking getting smoked you can use a curse spell to lure it. The curse spell with lessen its defence by 5% as well so it is very very suggested.

Notes:

2.8. Woodcutting

I2. Willow Woodcutting (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 30 WCing.

Recommended 50+ WCing and a Rune Axe.

Method: Like the name says you're going to be cutting down Willows for cash. Head to Draynor and bank all your weapons and armor and equip your woodcutting axe. Go out behind Draynor Village and cut the Willows there. Straightforward and simple nothing much to be explained here. Its easy, however you can only make around 10-15K an hour because of the competition for these logs. When you get 1K+ its time to sell.

Where and how much to sell for: To sell them, go to the official forums 'Fletching' section and people buy Willow logs there for no less than 30GP each. If there is nobody buying there at the time being, world 1 Draynor Bank is your next option.

Tips 'n Tricks:

Notes: Read the forums or listen to some music while you are doing this. You WILL get bored.

J2. Maple Woodcutting (P2P only)

Requirements: 50 WCing.

Recommended: 60+ WCing and a Rune Axe.

Method: First of all, you need to take a trip to Seer's Village Bank. When you are there bank all your weapons and armor and equip your Rune Axe. Head to the back of Seers Village the orange trees are the ones you are wanting to cut. Depending on the time of day and demand there is at the time, this can either be a slow or decent cash maker. When you get 1K+ of them it's time to sell.

Where and how much to sell for: Seers Bank World 2 is the place to sell. In bulk these go for around 100GP each.

Tips 'n Tricks: A good type of world to WC these on is a world with around 1500 people.

Notes: A decent money maker for the recent members. Like all WCing methods listen to music or read something while you do this.

K2. Yew Woodcutting (F2P and P2P)

Requirements: 60 WCing.

Recommended: 70+ WCing and a Rune Axe.

Method: Yews prices have gone done over the past few months because of the increase of macroers. Nowadays you can never find an unmarked yew tree, it will either be cut down already or have level 3's surrounding it. This is NOT recommended as a cash maker because the competition for the logs are fierce and they are only 200-250 each now. But if you insist on trying it I suggest the yew trees right south of Edgeville Bank.

Where and how much to sell for: 210-230 each is the price you should be aiming for. In world 1 just west of the entrance to Varrock West Bank is the place to sell. Merchants are all over this area buying all the yew logs for under 250 each. It shouldn't be too hard to sell.

Tips 'n Tricks:

Notes: Unlike the other methods listed above you cannot read the forums as they get chopped down fairly fast because of the sheer number of people WCing it. NOT a good money maker at all... (I'd like to point out that this message is mainly aimed to F2P players. If you are P2P then there are much better Yew chopping sites which are not as crowded as F2P)

L2. Mage Woodcutting (P2P only)

Requirements: 75 WCing.

Recommended: 90 WCing and a Rune Axe.

Method: Equipped only with your axe head south of Seers Bank and look through the forest until you find a cluster of sparkling trees. These are the Magic Trees. Like Yews these are highly sought after and there is lots of competition for it. However, unlike Yews there are rarely any autoers meaning it's price will stay at the 1K mark. WC and Bank and repeat over and over again till you are ready to sell.

Where and how much to sell for: 1K each is the absolute firm price you should be selling for. World 2 Seers Bank is the place to sell them. If no one is buying there (Which is very rare) head to the 'Fletching' section of the official forums and sell them there.

Tips 'n Tricks: The Mage Trees in Seers Village Forest are very popular. Try and find secluded areas to WC mage logs like in the Gnome Stronghold.

Notes: A GREAT way for aspiring WCers to make a large amount of cash.

2.9. Fletching

M2. Arrow Shafts (P2P only)

Requirements: 1 Fletching and 1 WCing.

Recommended: 30+ Wcing.

Method: Good ol' Arrow Shafts, this is the easiest item to obtain in immense amounts (100K-200K) to make a decent living out of these, you will need to WC your own Normal Logs. To begin with, bank all your weapons and armor and equip your WC axe and have a knife in your inventory. Head out into an area with lots of normal trees and begin to WC them, as soon as you have 27 of them (which is your whole inventory with the exception of your Knife) use the Knife with the Logs to be presented with a menu. In that menu, you will be presented with three options. Arrow Shafts, Longbows, or Shortbows. Right click the Arrow Shafts option and click the 'Make X' button, punch in 27 and watch your player fletch. Rinse and repeat. Everytime you fletch 27 Logs you will get 405 Arrow Shafts. So, for every 1 Normal Log you have you can get 15 Arrow Shafts. So, 1K Normal Logs = 15K Arrow Shafts. Keep doing this until you have them in bulk (10K+).

Where and how much to sell for: There is most likely only one place to sell Arrow Shafts and that is the 'Fletching' section of the official forums. Make a post and sell these for 10GP each.

Tips 'n Tricks: When doing this you can incorporate alot of things. For example, do you think that cutting the normal logs yourself is too long? Well, in crowded F2P worlds you usually see around 10K Normal Logs in the general store just waiting to be bought. So, bring out all your money bank and store all your weapons and armor and do trips from the bank to the general store. The logs are fairly cheap (1-10GP) and the distance you need to run is short. When you obtain 1K+ of them transfer to a P2P world and fletch them all and prepare to sell.

Notes: Easy and a great way to earn money and early fletching experience.

N2. Yew Longbows (P2P only)

Requirements: 70 Fletching.

Recommended: 70+ WCing.

Method: Yew Longbows are profitable any way you make them. If you buy the strings and the Yew Logs you make money. If you buy the strings and WC the logs you make money and vice versa. So, let's say you buy all the materials. You buy 1K Bowstrings for 150 each and 1K Yew Logs for 250 each. That will total you 400K. You fletch them all into Yew Longbows and are ready to sell. Generally, Yew Longs are at least 550GP each and if you sell for that price chances are you will get buyers. That's 150K cash AND Fletching experience in one pacakage and best of all you can maximize the profits by getting all the materials yourself.

Where and how much to sell for: Like mentioned in the method these go for 550 each. So, take a trip to the 'Fletching' section of the forums and make a post there. These are high in demand because of the cost of High Alch mage training.

Tips 'n Tricks: To make selling as painless as possible it is best to make a network of buyers.

Notes: If you're planning to get higher levels in fletching you can expect that this is the best way.

O2. Mage Longbows (P2P only)

Requirements: 85 Fletching.

Recommended: 75+ WCing.

Method: Mage Longbows are the exactly the same as Yew Longbows. The only different is that they are made out of logs that cost 1K each alone. Buy 1K Mage Logs for 1M and 1K BS for 150K. Fletch them then sell them. Rinse and repeat. You gain 150K cash and 183K Fletching experience for every 1000 Longs you make.

Where and how much to sell for: Like every other bow you can make money from sell these in the 'Fletching' section of the official forums. These go for 1.3K each in bulk and do not sell any less than that.

Tips 'n Tricks: To make selling as painless as possible it is best to make a network of buyers.

Notes: A great way to get cash and lots of fletching experience.

2.10. Fishing

P2. Lobster Fishing (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 40 Fishing and a Lobster Cage.

Recommended: 65+ Fishing.

Method: There's only one place to fish Lobsters in F2P and that place is Karamja. To get to the Karamja island fishing spot, bank all your weapons and armor and withdraw 60GP and a Lobster Cage. Walk south of Falador East Bank until you reach Port Sarim. From there, in the middle part of the dock just a little bit east of the fishing shop right click on one of the sailors in blue and click on the 'Pay fare' option. This will automatically put you on a boat to Karamja island and will deduct 30GP from your inventory. When you arrive walk out the plank and follow the route shown below.

karamjafishingbf0.png

When you are there start fishing and when you have a full inventory walk back and bank in Falador East Bank. At even the higher levels of fishing you can only make a maximum of 40K per hour of work.

Where and how much to sell for: Varrock West Bank world 1 is the best place to sell. Just south west of the entrance of Varrock West Bank. You should be aiming to sell for 185 at least and 200 at most.

Tips 'n Tricks: Read the forums while you do this as fishing spots don't dissapear often.

Notes: A non-reliable source of money. Lobster prices have been decreasing and the competition for them is fierce.

Q2. Shark Fishing (P2P only)

Requirements: 76 Fishing and a Harpoon.

Recommended: 85+ Fishing.

Method: Walk on over to the Fishing Guild which is almost directly north of Adrougne. Bank everything in your inventory and withdraw a Harpoon. Go over to the fishing platforms right next to the bank and start harpooning. Bank and repeat. Note that you can also do this with any other fish that you are able to catch here.

Where and how much to sell for: Raw shark prices, like Lobsters have been going down. However, this does not mean that it is a bad money-maker. Each Raw Shark is now 900 each in quantities of 500+ to sell them, go to the 'Fishing' section of the official forums.

Tips 'n Tricks: Read the forums or listen to music while you are doing this. If you can't then start chatting to your fellow fishermen. You might make some friends and it will keep you from getting bored.

Notes: Well if you want to make some cash and lay-back and relax at the same time then Shark Fishing would definately be good for you. It's a reliable source of money and you can easily make a living out of it.

2.11. Unicorn Horn Collecting (P2P only)

Requirements: A combat level of 60+, a fast and decent weapon, Varrock Teleport Runes and the ability to brave the level 13-21 wilderness.

Recommended: A combat level of 70+.

Method: To begin with head to Varrock East Bank. First of all, withdraw your weapon and equip any 2 items that you will be using to kill Unicorns with. I suggest that you use Dragonhide armor as mages are your greatest threat out there in the P2P wilderness. Together with those, bring 1-3 Lobsters and Varrock Teleport Runes but make sure you have enough space to fit 20 Unicorn Horns. When you have geared up follow this white route to the Black Unicorns.

unicornhornswj6.png

When you arrive, start slaughtering the Level 22 Black Unicorns. They drop the Unicorn Horns in which you are collecting. Luckily they're quite generous and they are a 100% drop. When you have finished your trip teleport to Varrock and bank at the East Bank. Re-stock on food if you need to and go repeat. You can make up to 200K per hour depending on how fast you are.

Where and how much to sell for: The 'Herblore' section of the official forums is filled with buyers for Unicorn Horns. This is because the Anti-poison potions that they make give excellent experience and they are able to re-sell their finished potions to make up for buying them. Unicorn Horns go for around 900-1K each in almost any amount. I suggest to find permanent buyers or maybe even take up temporary jobs or orders.

Tips 'n Tricks: I suggest you go to non-crowded worlds because the Ancient Teleporters have become a famous way of PKing.

Notes: Good way to get cash & combat experience at the same time.

2.12. Abyssal Runecrafting (P2P only)

Requirements: Completed the Zamorak Mage's mini-quest. To complete it simply speak to him and go on from there. Pure Ess to craft, 2+ Glory Amulets and access to the Fountain of Heroes in the Heroe's Guild.

Recommended: The ability to wear Dragonhide, decent skill levels, pouches and teleport tablets and 44RC+.

Method: Equip your armor (Dragonhide, any other kind is highly not suggested and other anti-mage equipment) and have either a pickaxe or hatchet in your right-hand. Run north of Edgeville towards the Zamorak Mage, right click on him and choose the teleport option. Once you have done this you will be teleported into the abyss...

abyssmz1.png

Thanks to Tip.It for the map.

Here you can teleport into the different Runecrafting altars without the use of an altar but before you can you need to make your way into the inner rim. To do this you must find one of the abyssal blockages and destroy it to pass through which were explained in the map. Once you are finished crafting your runes, un-equip your glory and teleport to Edgeville to lather, rinse and repeat.

Tips 'n Tricks: Be sure to have some teleport tablets to escape PKers as you will be skulled and have all your prayer drained as soon as you teleport into the abyss. Pouches can be obtained from the abyssal leeches, walkers and guardians at certain levels however you can only have one of each pouch at a time. For more in-depth information check other Abyss RC guides in the Archive of Wisdom or from the Tip.It website itself. The reason why I suggested 44+RC is because at that level you can craft Nats in which your profits will skyrocket doing this.

Notes: A great way of making cash for all levels especially at 91RC. (Double Nats Pl0x)

3.0. Merchanting

Buying low and selling high, that's the merchant's way. Do this with any kind or quantity of item and it's considered merchanting. In this section, you will find specific ways of effective merchanting for P2P and F2P players alike. This IS the fastest cash method I have to admit but your skill levels unfortunately do not benefit. Patience is the key.

3.1. Runes Merchanting (P2P only)

Requirements: 500K-1M.

Recommended: A fast internet connection and 4M+.

Method: Runes Merchanting has a pretty simple concept. That is, buying runes from shops and then reselling them in bulk to other players. Now, to do this you must put all your money into your inventory and head on down to your local rune shop. Trade with the NPC that has the runes and buy out all their Death and Chaos Runes. Then, when they are out of stock log out and choose another world. Keep doing this until you have each rune in bulk (1K+) and then sell them. You can also do this with other runes.

Where and how much to sell for: World 2 Falador West Bank just south of the acutal bank itself you will see many people buying and selling runes. This is the best spot to sell your runes aside from the 'Runes' section of the forums. At the time of writing Chaos Runes go for around 140-150 each in bulk and Death Runes 270-300 each in bulk.

Tips 'n Tricks: You can do this with most runes but Deaths, Chaos, Bloods, Nats and Water runes are probably the best. If you can, then find another rune shop in which you can buy from because the number of runes differ from shop to shop. Turn private chat to 'off' mode while doing this is highly recommended because you will not bother or spam your friend's chat box and you will not recieve any unwanted messages when you do this.

Notes: A great way to make some cash and very easily can anyone make millions through.

The Profits: Death Runes go for an average of 205 GP each at in shops. In an hour, I can buy 3K of these. Chaos Runes go for an average of 101 GP each at the shops and I can buy 5K of these in an hour. So combined, I can buy 3K of Death Runes and 5K of Chaos Runes in one hour and I spend a grand total of 1120K (based on the average selling price of runes at shops may differ). I am able to sell these for a networth of 1510K-1650K in 15 minutes. So, I can get 390K-530K in an hour.

3.2. Special Section - Runes Merchanting with less than 500K (P2P only)

One word. Water Runes. The average selling price for these in shops are 7GP each. In an hour I can buy 10K of these from the Void Knight's Rune Shop and I spend only 70K. Now, Water Runes go for around 20-30 each. So I can sell them for at least 200K which is a 130K profit! That's doubling your 70K cash in an hour! Keep doing this until you can move on to bigger forms of merchanting for more profit.

3.3. Ore Merchanting (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: Around 200K.

Recommended: 1M+.

Method: Go onto a crowded world and start buying all Coal and Iron. You should be aiming to buy Iron for less than 90 each and Coal for 150 each... And that's pretty much it. When you have a bulk amount of them (1K+) sell them and repeat.

Where and how much to sell for: World 1 Falador East Bank is THE place for any kinds of ores and bars. Here, people will be buying bulk amounts of Coal for 200 each and bulk amounts of Iron for 100 each. Those are the prices that you are going to be selling by.

Tips 'n Tricks: To make this faster you may want to hire permanent Iron Ore and Coal miners and establish a network of permanant buyers and sellers. If you do this then you may not need to type that degrading "Buying all coal and iron ores!" sentence over and over again only to be drowned in the messages of other players.

Notes: A great way for F2P to merchant.

3.4. Arrow Merchanting (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 100K.

Recommended: 200K+.

Method: Head to world 1 to Lowe's Ranger shop. There start buying ALL bronze arrows for 10 each. Type something like

"Buying all bronze arrows! -(username)"

Buy any amounts of Bronze Arrows and when you have 10K+ sell them for no less than 15 each.

A variation to that is that you buy Bronze Arrows from shops and then resell them in bulk to other players. For the buying from other players method it is less money but you get arrows alot faster but for the variation of it you DON'T get as much arrows but you attain

more profit. To me, I personally find that buying from other players faster but you must find a variation that suits you.

Where and how much to sell for: Selling them is quite easy. Head to official forums and go to the 'Fletching' section and quite often there will be people buying Bronze Arrows for training. You should not go below the price of 15 each though. 15-20 GP per is quite a reasonable price if you sell them in large amounts. While browsing the forums, you could also attempt to sell them in world 1.

Tips 'n Tricks:

Notes: A good way to make some cash but it is not suggested unless you are specifically good at it.

3.5. Whip Merchanting (P2P only)

Requirements: Enough money to buy Whips for how much they are currently selling for.

Recommended: A general knowledge of how much all items are as you usually get item trades.

Method: Head to the forums and try and buy a Whip for 100K less than the average selling price. Your best bet is to try and win auctions for them and hope that you win. When you attain one sell it.

Where and how much to sell for: You should try and sell for 100K more than you bought it for. In fact, you should always try and sell

for 100K more than what you bought it for. This is because, other people will be selling for much less than you if you get carried away with the selling price. The best place to sell is world 2 right above the statue in the middle of the garden of Falador East Bank. If you do get lots of items as a trade then what you must do is add it all up using a calculator. Make sure that you only add up the price that the items can sell for at the very least. That way you will not have to compete when selling the seperate items. For example if the prices for Whips is an average of 2.6M at the time being and you bought it for 2.5M obviously your goal is to sell it for 2.6M for a profit. A guy comes up and trades you 8K of Death Runes and 3 noted sets of Full Blue Mystic. You add up that 8K of Death Runes sell for at least 270 each totalling 2.16M and 3 sets of Full Blue Mystic can sell for at least 180K per full set totalling 540K for all 3 sets. You conclude that if you take the trade you can easily sell the items for at least 2.7M meaning an extra 100K profit.

Tips 'n Tricks: It's good to have friends that kill Abyssal Demons for their Whips. Tell them that you will buy all the Whips that they get so he dosen't need to go to world 2 and sell it himself/herself. Usually they will agree because level 85 slayers will not take the time to sell at a high-medium price.

Notes: Only if you are VERY good should you attempt this as you risk loosing around 100K-200K if you are inexperienced.

3.6. Cowhide Merchanting (P2P only)

Requirements: Around 400K.

Recommended: 1M+.

Method: Head down to Al-Kharid Bank and choose a F2P world that has lots of people (world 1, 3 etc...). Start buying all the Cowhides for 100-110 each. Type something like...

"Buying all hides! 100-110 ea! -(username)"

When you have exhausted all your money sell them.

Where and how much to sell for: Unfortunately there is no place for Cowhides in world 2 but the only place to sell these are in the 'Crafting' section of the official forums. Make a post and sell these for 130-140 each. Even if the hides can go for up to 150 each it will take you much much longer to sell.

Tips 'n Tricks:

Notes: New merchants should have no problem with this form of merchanting.

3.7. Karamja fish shop merchanting (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 50-100K.

Recommended: 150K+.

Method: With all your money, head on down to the Karamja island via the boat in Port Sarim. From there, make your way to the karmja fish store (the general store) and begin buying ALL the raw Lobbies and Tuna. From the information that Ventuzz has given me, Raw Tuna sells at 30 each there and Lobbies at 45 each. So with 50K cash you could purchase approximately 1.5K Raw Tuna which turns your 50K into a good 150K, or you could buy 1K Raw Lobsters which could turn your 50K into an impressive 200K. Bank and repeat. Take note that this will require world hopping and that Raw Tuna will be easier to purchase than Raw Lobbies.

Where and how much to sell for: At the time of writing, food prices haven't been doing to well due to the large amount of updates that are slowly introducing new items in RS. Raw Tuna goes for 100 each and Lobsters 200 each. Generally, these will be easier to sell in bulk but if you must, then sell at least 500 every trade. You could look for buyers in the 'Food' section of the official forums or sell them in world 1 Varrock East Bank right outside the entrance. Another selling alternative would be to open your own shop in forums such as the TIF (Tipit forums). This could get you a decent flow of permanent buyers that gives you frequent income.

Tips 'n Tricks: If you can, then merchant both the Tuna and Lobsters. This will not only give you more cash, but also maximize the amount of money you have. Also, you could buy the fish from the Port Sarim fishing shop instead of Karamja general store. Note that the fish stock varies from shop to shop.

Notes: A decent way to make money, perhaps one of the better F2P methods of merchanting.

3.8. Recongizing the things that influence the RS market

Merchanting not only requires the ability to buy for a low price and sell for a higher one. It involves much more. Experienced merchants will know that certain things in RS will affect the prices of items in the market. By knowing this, they are able to sell items that they own before they drop in price, or buy items in advance that they know will rise in price to make themselves a nifty profit. A good example would be Whips and the much anticipated Construction Skill which was mentioned by JaGeX a few days prior to its release. Before Construction came out Whips were going for 2.7-2.8M each! Imagine this scenario... You are an experienced merchant of the Abbysal Whip. You hear about the upcoming construction update then you begin to think to yourself... "Hmmm, this is going to be a massive update. Whips will drop in price because people will be spending their cash on their houses instead of expensive weaponry. I guess I need to sell these before they drop then." You then go on to sell them for a 200K profit. But after a while, you begin to brainstorm again. "Wait a sec... construction, which is the ability to make your own house. Making your own house require nails and for nails you need Steel Bars!" You then go out and buy 10K Steel Bars with all the 5.5M you have. On the day of the release the Steel Bars skyrocketed to 1K each! (Note that this actually happened) and whips dropped to 2.4M each. Knowing this will not last you sell all your Steel Bars for 10M making yourself 4.5M!

Above is a prime example of using things that influence the RS market to your advantage. As you become better you will realise more and more things that play a great deciding role in how much items will cost. Having this skill is not needed but handy. Good luck in merchanting, take notice and remember to have a sharp eye on ANYTHING that may affect the market.

4.0. Running

Well I guess that most of you never thought of running for money. Even thought it may sound wierd running is one of the best ways F2P's can make cash.

4.1. Air Running (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 25 Rune Essence (can you believe it?) and an Air Tiara or Talisman.

Recommended:

Method: Head to world 16 Fally East Bank and bank all your weapons and armor. Take out your Air Talisman/Tiara and 25 UNNOTED Rune Essence. Follow the route this map shows and use enter the Mysterious Ruins using the talisman or tiara. Once you enter, you will find yourself ontop of a huge hill in the middle of nowhere. One thing that you may find all over that towering hill is that some people will be saying the word "Open!" if they do then they are the crafters. The people in which you will be trading with. Trade with them and trade them all your unnoted ess. They should then give you 2K-2.5K cash as well as 25-27 Noted Rune Essence. Get out of the altar and repeat.

Where and how much to sell for:

Tips 'n Tricks: For more information search for the world 16 airs company thread in the official forums.

Notes:

4.2. Newt Running (F2P and P2P. Suggested for F2P)

Requirements: 3K-9K.

Recommended: 30K+.

Method: Start at Draynor Bank and remove all equipment that you have on you. Then withdraw all your money and make your way to the runes shop in Port Sarim. Once there, trade with the witch and buy 27 Eye of Newts which are 3GP each. Head back to Draynor, bank and repeat until you have 1K+.

Where and how much to sell for: The 'Herblore' section of the official forums is the only place to sell these. Although you bought them for a tiny 3GP each at the shops, the Eye of Newts sell for a whooping 100-250 each in bulk! That's great money for such a simple and short method.

Tips 'n Tricks: When you sell to the people in the forums, always ask if you can be a permanent seller.

Notes:

4.3. Law Running (P2P only)

Requirements: Pure Essence

Recommended: Boots of Lightness and a Glory Amulet and the ability to access the Fountain of Heroes.

Method: Now, for Law Running there are two different worlds to choose from, they differ because one supplies essence and the other does not. However, the company that does supply essence is usually overcrowded with runners and the ratio is quite unbalanced while the second is fast service but as I have said does not supply essence. It is simply your choice to choose which world to run on.

World 99 Law Running (Does not supply Pure Essence)

Start at Draynor bank world 99 and bank all your weapons and armor. This is important as you cannot board the boat to the Law Altar if you have any weaponry whatsoever. What you need to do is withdraw 25-28 UNNOTED Pure Essence and head to the Port Sarim docks where the monks of Entrana will take you to Entrana. When you get there simply walk out plank and follow the trail of people towards the Law Altar. Or, if you cannot locate it you may find it in your interest to refer to the Tip.It world map on the main page. When you are there, trade a crafter in TEAL robes and offer all the essences you have in your inventory. He will then trade you the corresponding amount of Law Runes. Bank and repeat.

World 66 Law Running (Supplies Pure Essence)

Like world 99 running, start at Draynor and bank all weaponry and armor but this time withdraw only 24-27 UNNOTED Pure Essence. Head to the Port Sarim docks and speak to the monks of Entrana who will take you on a boat to Entrana. Once you reach there, walk out of the plank and follow the trail of people to the Law Altar. If you cannot find the Law Altar then refer to the Tip.It world map on the main page. When you reach there trade a crafter in RED robes this time and trade him all your Pure Essences. He will then give you the corresponding number of Law Runes and Pure Essences. Bank and repeat.

Where and how much to sell for: Laws generally go for 300-350 each in bulk. To sell these, go to the forums and advertise.

Tips 'n Tricks: To make trips faster, equip Boots of Lightness and a Glory Amulet. As soon as you recieve your Laws un-equip your amulet and tele to Draynor Village. This will be effective as it cuts your running time almost in half!

Notes: For more information read the companies' threads in the official forums.

4.4. Snape Grass Collecting (P2P only)

Requirements: At least 100 Law Runes, 200 Airs, 50 Earths, 50 Waters, A house in Rimmington, and a combat level of 60+.

Recommended: Boots of Lightness and Numerous Ring of Duellings.

Method: To start off transfer to a crowded world. Remove all your weapons and armor and withdraw a minimum of 100 Laws, 200 Airs, 50 Earths and 50 Waters.

Teleport to your house and walk outside the portal. When you have, follow this map to the Hobgoblin Peninsula west of the Crafting Guild.

snapegrassjy7.png

Go to the very tip of the peninsula until you see 2 Snape Grass on the ground. Those are the Snape Grass respawns which you will be picking up. The reason that a requirement of a combat level of at least level 60 was included in this method was because of the Hobgoblins in this island. Even if they are a low-level they can hit quite often even through Rune Armor. Pick up all the Snape Grass that appears and then teleport to Falador, bank and repeat. Once you have 1K+ sell.

Where and how much to sell for: The 'Herblore' section of the official forums are a good place to sell these. In bulk, Snape Grass usually go for up to 500GP each. But if you can't sell for 500 each, then sell for no less than 400 each.

Tips 'n Tricks: While selling on the forums, it is good to keep collecting Snape Grass instead of just standing there browsing the forums looking for a buyer. Eventually, one will PM you or post in your thread. Also, to reduce the number of runes required, you will find the Rings of Duelling are effective. Instead of teleporting to Falador to bank, you can rub your Ring of Duelling, teleport to the Castle Wars Arena and bank there. Doing this will lessen the number of runes you need to 50 Laws, 50 Airs and 50 Earths from the original number to collect at least 1K Snape Grass. However, you will need at least 6 Rings of Duelling to collect them.

Notes:

4.5. Advanced Snape Grass Collecting

Requirements: Must've completed the Lunar Diplomacy quest, 72 Mage, Duelling Rings, 2 Astral Runes, 1 Water Rune and 1 Law Rune for every 24 you wish to collect.

Recommended: Boots of Lightness and a Water Staff.

Method: To start off, equip your staff and boots if you have any and stock up on the neccessary runes needed to use the Waterbirth Teleport as well as a Ring of Duelling. When you're all set, teleport to Waterbirth and go around the island and find the Snape Grass respawn points. Pick them up, teleport to the CW arena then repeat.

Where and how much to sell for: See above.

Tips 'n Tricks:

Notes:

4.6. Nat Running (P2P only)

Requirements: Pure Essence, Nat Tally/Tiara.

Recommended: Access to a fair amount of transportation methods around RuneScape and Boots of Lightness.

Method: Unfortunately there is no official world for Nat Running so you will have to find independent crafters who are able to craft double nats for the best pay possible. To do this, you must browse the official forums and find threads based on Nat Running to get a job. Information about the crafters' rules and conditions should be thoroughly explained in his/her thread. An example would be this thread found in the 'Runes' section of the official forums.

Below I will explain a few ways of Running the Nats...

Since the Nat Altar is somewhere in the thick Karamja jungle banking options are extremely limited. Take note that the black circle is

the Nature Altar.

natrunningmethodsag5.png

Green represents the General Store essence withdrawal method. This will require you to have all your noted Pure Essence and a decent amount of cash in your inventory. To run this way, all you need to do is get your nats crafted, run to the general store, sell 25 Pure Essence to the store and then buy them back in an unnoted form using your cash. There are things to watch out for though. Sometimes, Broodoo Victims will sneak out of the bushes around Tai Bwo Wannai and attack you so you must be cautious travelling around this area.

The blue represents the Shilo Village banking method. This is perhaps the most safe and straightforward way to run. However it will require the completion of the Shilo Village quest. Simply get your Nats crafted run to the bank and then back.

Finally, red represents the gnome glider method. Although this is not a suggested method it is still quite good. You must have access to Gnome Gliders to be able to do this. Just get your nats crafted, run to the glider and then bank in the Grand Tree (Te Quir Priw).

Where and how much to sell for: Nats can easily be sold at 300-340 each in the 'Runes' section of the official forums especially in bulk as they have extremely high demand.

Tips 'n Tricks:

Notes: Doing this can earn you up to 200K per hour! The beauty of it is in its simplicity.

5.0. Running your own RuneScape business

Running your own RuneScape business can get messy if you are not organised. However, if you are then this can be one of the biggest cash-makers around. You need to think about what kind of business you'll have. Whether it'll be a simple resale product company where your items go from the worker --> the boss (you) --> permanent buyers or a more complex system of workmen, managers and buyers. A good example of a good business that have increased in popularity are mining companies. Mining companies have multiple workers, one-two managers and a network of permanent buyers. What they do, is set a fixed price and number for an ore of some sort and send the assignment to their workers for them to get. Once the workers have the specific ore and number the boss(es) then trade them and pay them for their work. Afterwards, the boss then goes on to sell the ores that the worker has mined for profit. Sounds simple but with a large network of buyers and workers you will be able to expand your business and make yourself more cash. Another kind would be Smelting Companies. Since Steel Bars are high in demand, people make Steel Bar Smelting Companies. These companies comprise of people who are able to smith Steel Bars, permanent buyers and the boss. The system works like this... The Smelters get 2K Coal and Iron however way they make please. When they do this, they then smelt them all into 1K Steel Bars for you to buy. The boss, then gives them back all their 2K Coal (400K) and 1K Iron (100K) back as well as a 20-50K for all the 1K Steel Bars they have. This way, the workers attain free smithing experience and an extra 20-50k + all their ores back. While the boss gives the worker 500K worth in ores and a few extra cash and then sells them to a permanent buyer for 600 each making him a profit. Smithing companies usually have a large network and thus, the owner(s) makes lots of GP through it.

All good companies are organised and do what they promise, it is also good to have their own thread advertising their company at forums. Running your own business can be quite confusing and at times just unbearable but through hard work you will be able to organise yourself and start raking in the big cash.

6.1. Closing Words

If you've read the whole guide then I applaud you. I've put quite a number of people to sleepy land with this lol. Equipped with this new knowledge you have now, you can independently go out there and fend for yourself! Making cash should now be a breeze for you ::'.

A small refinement to steel bar smelting...

Iron - Withdraw 10

Coal - Withdraw all

Then click one iron to put it back (If you have a space used, do this before the coal, instead of after).

I NEVER type numbers when doing a full load of steel.

Try posting something on the Archive of Wisdom and you will find out that only moderators are allowerd to post there. I think it is because of some people post guides that are obselete and have faulty or misleading information. Oh, and thanks for the comments guys :D .

It's to keep the archive a handy board. There were guides comeing up which were below standard to say the least. If moderators are the ones who decide if a guide goes there then it saves many the trouble of haveing to look at guides posted just for post count and not for helping others.

TBH I thought this was ripped at first because of how good and long it was  but I made a quick search on Tip it and copernic agent (uses multiple search engines) and doesn't seem to be ripped :)

Great job, moveing this thread to the archives.

Good idea, I'll add this to the guide and jot you down on the credits list. Thank you ::' .

there are actually 2 places to catch lobbies in f2p one is in the far wildy but i thought i saw this one before...

I can assure you that I have made this guide by myself and has not been copied/pasted. Even if some of the things on the guide I cannot do, I have researched on all of the methods I have listed. Thank you for the submission however, I am not so sure of adding it because of the distance to the bank.

also if u did first part of recipe of diaster you could bank with the chest in lumby castle

Yes, I am aware of that chest but the coal and cowhide collecting is really only suggest for F2P players.

Im sure many people would appreciate it if you made the white circles more visable, or make them a different color, because I couldnt see many of them.

dude not to be mean or anything but no one uses bulk anymore..

That is not neccesarily true. And I think you'll know that is not true when you sell Nats, lower-leveled arrows and cheap items which are easy to obtain like Rune Essences. Selling 10K Rune Essences for example is easier to do than sell 10 Rune Essences, and same goes for similar items.

The guide is nothing more than a guide, it is not forcing you to sell in bulk so there is no need for that kind of complaint.

Im sure many people would appreciate it if you made the white circles more visable, or make them a different color, because I couldnt see many of them.

What color do you suggest I change them to then :-k ?

New tip for all methods of money-making which require a lot of running: If you can, wear boots of lightness as they give you a -4 kg bonus, meaning you can run for longer (P2P only).

Thank you for that :) , I will add your tip and give you credit when I add Law Running and Nat Running.

nice guide!

might i suggest for snape grass collecting, for people who have done the lunar diplomacy quest, and have high magic, you can also do this:

inventory:

laws

astral runes

lava b staff

wear:

boots of lightness (from temple of ikov quest)

water staff

wot u do:

use teleport waterbirth island weilding ur water staff, so ur lava b staff is in inventory (saves space), collect as much snape grass as poss (10 spawn locations or sumthing =p) then switch to lava b staff to tele back to lunar isle, depo at bank which is only a few squares away, repeat.

I got 400 snape grass within 40 or so minutes doing that, it saved me 200k :P
