April 8, 200719 yr Me and my friend plan on going dust devil killing, but he told me that I need to do part of desert treasure to get to the smoke cave. Is that true, and if so, how much of the quest do I need to do?
April 8, 200719 yr Only the part where you get to the smoke well, which can be the first part of the quest(for the diamonds) if you want. I think you need to get the ring of visibility though to do that part, which you get right before doing that part.

Just up to the part after where you look on the mirror to see the locations. you need a ring of visibility. thankfully, you don't need to do any fighting or hard quest challenges. April 9, 200719 yr No, you don't have to do the parts in order. Also, you don't need the ring of visibility to enter the smokey well, all you need is a face mask. Just do the quest up to the point of looking into the mirrors you build in the desert then head east to the well.
