printing sigs/wallpapers

Featured Replies

Well, I tried printing out a background I recently made in photoshop and when the paper came out, the colors were totally warped. The light green turned into yellow and black turned into a shade of red. I tried printing it in MS word, MS paint, and photoshop, but whatever I do, the colors get messed up. When printed from photoshop, the colors are the closest to what I want. Any ideas on how to get the printer to print out exactly what is on the screen?

maybe your ink cartridges are messed up?

thanks everyone for the sigs!

only one of them is low on ink, and that's the yellow one. Would it really make that much of a difference and print reddish brown instead of black?

Well, I'd recomend using a quality photo printer with photo paper - a normal inkjet printer just won't cut it

To make a long explanation short, aside from not using a high-quality printer, odds are you made the whatever in RGB, not CMYK.

Yeah that is what I did. I didn't think it made a difference but I printed it on my sis's printer which is nearly the exact same (if not THE exact same) and it came out perfectly. No warped colors, just the way I wanted it to be. Kind of odd eh? :? Well thanks for suggestions, got the answer to my question. Mods can lock this =)
