Monkey Madness Advice

I've got a goal of doing Monkey Madness at level 79:

 

 

 

Attack 64-65

 

Strength 66

 

Defense 62

 

Hitpoints 65

 

Ranged 56-57

 

Magic 56-57

 

Prayer 47

 

 

 

So, will the demon be hard? Somewhat hard? Quite hard? Very hard? Or perhaps... OMG HARD?!

 

 

 

And what should I wear? I've got rune, initiate, blue d'hide... and all three completed prayer books.

 

 

 

And what should I bring? Sharks, for sure. A teleport tablet in case of emergency. Can I drink a super set before the fight, or do I need to bring it?

 

 

 

And most importantly, how do I need to go about actually killing the thing? What does it attack like, and how can I defend myself best?

I killed it at level 75 quite easily, so at level 79 (and my stats were lower than those posted) the demon should be pretty easy.

 

 

 

The demon is most easily killed with range, so bring your best range armor, which is blue d'hide at that level, and a magic shortbow (or longbow, your choice) and just range it. The gnomes will attack the demon too if it's near them.

 

 

 

A super set is something i never used for the quest at all and I would bring a teleport to Ardougne (if you can teleport there) just in case. So just bring some teleport runes, food, pray pots, and your range gear for the fight.

 

 

 

It attacks with magic, so I'd bring a couple pray pots (go to ardougne to get a pot or two if you need it) and use protect from mage. Just keep ranging it and it'll shortly die.

well i did mm at 40 prayer so id say it would be easy. All you need to do for the demon is hide by the bridge

 

when hes low on health deal the final blow. I did it this way with 46 range and 30 bronze arrows w.o ppots
