Although on a small note, how complex, or long would learning PHP take? I'm guessing anywhere from 6 months to 3+ years? And what is required to learn such a language, if you can call it that? And do you know a site to fill me in on the history of php? I'm kind of eager to learn it. ^^

June 26, 200719 yr Author phpBB3 is currently on a Release Candidate , so its pretty close to having an official stable release. As said above, I just can't risk any data loss on a structure that may or may not change. But as for the original topic... This forum is so heavily modified that I don't even know if I would be able to make all the necessary changes to accommodate any new styles right now. Between advertising complaints and changes, breaking in a new Crew Leader, staff vacations due to summer, etc etc , I'm sorry but styles just aren't an option right now :( Ok so when we update to phpBB3 we get new templates, :? well thats will be in only three more years the rate they come out with new versions, oh and when the forum is updated it will have all the functionality of this version right like the hide feature and the closing of quotes. Subportal is already put on isn't it? SubSilver is ugly>.> SunIce is nice and should be put on, and with a variety of colours. the last two...don't live up to tif standards. :boohoo: <- - - Pokem that smily is for you, lol. June 26, 200719 yr Lord, the hide feature is the part of which Albosky says of which this forum is so heavily modified, he doesn't know if he could get them to go from phpbb2, to phpbb3 version. I'm pretty sure there's 4 things on each topic that is modified, right? SubPortal looks a lot like the default version. =/ Sorry.
