Yews or Magics?

Hi Everyone

 

I need some money, and i think the best way to make some with my skills is woodcuting, so my question is what will give me more cash, cutting yews or magics? My woodcuting lvl is 99. Thanks.

lol! well i know they are worth more, but they also take longer to cut..., so the question is more like sell less logs expensive, or a lot cheap?

I'd say magics, since they are alot more worthwhile in the end. And since you're 99, you should be cutting them at a fairly decent rate (hopefully with a Dragon Axe). Just my opinion. Take it from another 99 wc'er. :wink:

 

 

 

Though you might want to find out yourself and time for maybe 30 minutes and see how many magics you get compared to 30 minutes of cutting yews, and see which is better. I haven't bothered to do so myself, so if you do, let me know.

Wow nice it's 99. Magics of course. Yews cost 350 each but Magics cost A LOT more than that.

Yews are faster xp and you can still make decent money out of them, Magics are way to slow, not worth cutting IMO.

Well I made my first small fortune by chopping magics long long ago - i chopped around 20k magics and fletched them all - took me around 2 months. You must concider how many yews you can chop in the same time you chop a magic log, I chopped magics cause I didnt want to have to spend so much money on bowstrings but I'm not sure if magics are worth it if you're just gonna end up selling them.

 

 

 

My advice is chop 1k yews and see how long it takes - then chop magics for the same time as you choped yews - and see where you made more profit.

Can you cut 3 or more yew logs in the time you could cut 1 mage log? Try it and find out!

well it depends qhat do u get faster 10 yews or 3 magics, whichever wins ill make the most money quickly
