Well, soon, I want to get a good programm for computer art, so that I can use this board more and its something I've always wanted. There was a thread about someone wanting a tablet, and a few people recomended photoshop CS2 to him anyway. I was thinking of getting photoshop, as on eBay it is generally ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20-ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã30. Is this the right choice of programm? are there better/cheaper alternatives?

Go to microsoft.com and download the free trial of their image editing program. (the name escapes me at the moment...)

 

Search around the downloads area for a bit and you'll find it.

 

 

 

Photoshop is great, but if you are inexperienced in making graphics, or otherwise inexperienced in Photoshop itself, I wouldn't reccoment it, unless you also want to take some classes after you buy it.

get a free progam before buying one. who knows, maybe you get bored of using those programs, and it would be very sad to see the money for photoshop wasted :(

It's pretty easy to learn the basics of photoshop really, then you just discover stuff as you keep using it. I've never used any of the others such as paint shop pro or gimp (I think gimp is free so I'd reccomend getting that anyway and having a go with it) but photoshop is considered to be one of the best.
