I think you should try more than just changing the colours of a photograph. Also, I don't think the colours you have chosen go very well together, making the manipulated image less pleasing to the eye than the original.

I don't like the the top left hand corner, it kinda looks like part of a different sig. Other than that I like it :)

Ya really sorry about that, when I entered I didn't have much college work, but then it kinda came in thick and fast. Anyway nice entries everyone else.

I suggest that you don't concentrate on what tools you should and shouldn't use, but what you want the outcome to look like. I find the best results come when I already know exactly what I want to create before I start the work. However, I do suggest you learn how to use as many features of the program as you can, which will unlock many more possibilities.

I watched kiss kiss band bang, didn't quite follow the plotline but it was fun nevertheless.

very nice modeling, I was pretty bad at it back when I used to try stuff like this. I think the thing you need to work on is the textures so that they look more realistic. loving the wine by the way.

It looks pretty good, though in my opinion I think you should add some colour to the brushed bits, grey doesn't seem to go with the colour on the face too well.
