April 19, 200719 yr Smelting steel bars is like getting a root canal but more painful. I use Port P cause it is closest and make cannon balls while I do the bars. U get 36 cannon balls per run (9 bars) = 7.2k GP Barrows Drops: Guthan's platelegs and War Spear, Dharok's plate body and Great Axe, Verac's Flail, Verac's Helm x 2, Ahrim's top, Dharok's plate legs Dragon Drops: Medium Helm x 4, Shield Left Half, plate legs x 2, skirt x 2.

April 21, 200719 yr Not even close to 1k. I'd say 300-400. Yup, that's just about right. After smelting about 30k steelbars id say more like 400-500 per hour. allthough you will have to concetrate a bit then... hmm i was wonder would smelting addy bar give more xp per hour?. Ok, lets see: Smelting one steelbar gives 17.5 xp Smelting one addybar gives 37.5xp Therefore one load of steelbars (9 bars = 9 iron + 18 coal) gives 157.5xp And one load of addybars (4 bars = 4 addy + 24 coal) gives 150xp But wait! It takes shorter time to smelt four bars than nine bars! As a conclusion Id say they are both equal when talking about xp/hour, but as steelbars gives better profit id go for SPARTAAA... no, wait... STEELBARS! BTW: If iron is 100gp ea, coal 200gp ea, addy ore 900gp ea, steelbars 600ea and addybars is 2.2kea; Steelbars would make 900gp ea load and addybars would make 400gp ea load. Therefore: SPARTAAA... uhm... STEELBARS!
