qezrex
People have told me different things; Some say silverlight works best on demons / dragons as it hits higher than normal and etc. Some say that it is useless and that dragon weapons are the way to go. I am wanting to fight a high level demon for its loot, but dont know which weapon is best for the kill.. help? thanks.

Vulxai
this belongs more in help and advice here http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=111 could someone tell me how to make the link appear as words When your typing the message, above the Message area, you see icons such as B, i, and u, if you keep going you will see "URL", hit that, then post the link in the prompt box, then hit enter, and type in the words you want and hit enter again and it will post with the words. OT: I'd rather use dragon weapons but I've never actually tried silverlight other than the quest. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
compfreak847
Silverlight is about equal to rune weapons. Darklight is about equal to most drag weapons(slightly worse then the scimmy, but the spec blows it away). However, I would prefer whip instead of either of them. Drops: 1x Draconic Visage, 56x Abyssal Whip, 5x Demon Head, D Drops: 37, Barrows Drops: 43, DK Drops: 29GWD drops: 14,000x Bars, 1x Armadyl Hilt, 2x Armadyl Skirt, 4x Sara Sword, 1x Saradomin Hilt, 8x Bandos Hilt, 8x Bandos Platebody, 9x Bandos Tassets, 4x Bandos Boots, 43x Godsword Shard, 82x Dragon BootsDry streak records: Saradomin 412 kills Bandos 988 kills Spirit Mages 633 kills - Slayer Sucks
Celestrana
There are a few quest obtained "demon hunting" equipment that you can use, if you cannot afford the seemingly all mighty Abyssal Whip. - Silverlight is decent against demons around lvl-90. - Darklight, which is obtained after the quest Shadow of the Storm works well against demons around lvl-170 to lvl-190. The special also lowers the demon's defence, thus making it easier to kill. - To further supplement the effectiveness of these "demon hunting swords", make yourself some vials of Holy Water as done in Legends Quest. I haven't confirmed that you can make more vials of Holy Water but it doesn't hurt the try. The Holy Water is wielded in the weapon slot. 12pure34
Silverlight against a demon is equel to a rune long. But this only counts for demons. This has been confirmed by Jagex. But personaly, it looks kind of silly and the accuracy is lower to my opinion. But strenght against demons, it is equel to a rune long. ;) so just use a rune long/ baxe / scitimar. They are always good.
