I've always hated fletching, but I've decided to get a few levels. I've got about 15k maple logs in my bank from MTK. If I wanted to make, say, 5k maple longs (u), how long would that take?

 

 

 

To phrase the question differently, how many bows can you fletch per hour (not counting stringing)?

this depends on where u are.

 

if u use a 1 click bank such as culimancers chest it wont take long.

 

also putting the logs bext to the unstrungs will help.

I'm not stringing anything. I just want to carve unstrung willow longs.

 

 

 

Oh, and I CAN make yew shorts. :wink: I just need to get rid of some of these maple logs.

depends on how fast you can click.. but if you are crazy fast and can focus i would say that you can probable do like 1000 atleast in an hour?

But it doesn't really matter how fast you click. Most of the time is spent just sitting watching your character carve the bows. See:

 

 

 

*click* open bank

 

*right click* on unstrung bow in inv

 

*click* deposit all

 

*right click* on maple log in bank

 

*click* withdraw all

 

*click* exit bank screen

 

*click* knife

 

*click* maple log

 

*right click* maple long in chat screen

 

*click* "make x"

 

*type* 123123 or some other number larger than 26

 

*wait for about 45 seconds*

 

 

 

So that's 10 mouse clicks plus one "hand-mash" on the key-pad. Then clicking over to forums and waiting while the bows are fletched.

 

 

 

Anyone know how long 5k would take like this? 10k? 15k?

i would say roughly an hour or so per 1k, so 5 hours

i power fletched my way from 20 to 70 and i know that 1k bows wont take u an hour... maximum i think is about 45mins. i think my record is around 30mins

I say almost 2k a hour cutting the logs up. More like 1.7k so I say 3-4 hours.
