I've been playing RS on and off for a while, I'm not that "far" as they call it, quests generally bore me, and mindless grinding, is as I said, mindless.

 

 

 

I've just run out of things to do, im around lvl 40 in most f2p stats, and really can't be bothered to grind anymore. I'm too cheap to fork out 5 bucks a week and be a member.

 

 

 

what are your general suggestions to heal my ailment?

 

 

 

It would make it a lot easier to have fun if jagex would do SOMETHING for the F2Pers. I wish they'd give us a castle wars type thing to break up the mindless tedium.

Don't worry, everyone has those boredom attacks, just wait a little, play other games and soon you will realise your passion for RS is blazing a lot more than before.

To answer your question, I always found it fun to do things together with friends, such as PK'ing. What I found fun is making money, money and more money! :P Hope this helps.

Have you tried playing Morrowind before? a lot like runescape cept I like it better

I suggest take a break. After a while, the craving to play runescape will come back.

Yeh as he said, start a new character, or just take a break. I'm kinda going through that myself. :ohnoes:

i tried making a new account and making a pure, but killing cows for hours straight doesnt really appeal to me. maybe i should play a shooter for a while if its action im craving, or at least SOMETHING different for a bit of a challenge.

lol ive hit like streaks of boredom lasting a number of weeks, ull start playing again

 

 

 

or u can start a new pure account, pures are always fun to mess with whether or not u actually get kills, u can also run to rune rocks in lvl 50 wildy and annoy rune miners by atking them and running

 

 

 

basically anything in wildy would be entertaining, sometimes i even go to castle and just grab tons of runes cuz im bored

I still say you are too low lvl to be feeling bored of f2p. Probably you can skill to unlock most the f2p maximum for a skill, excluding some too hardcore ones.

Or you could try and join a community of players who's main goal is having fun? :)

Just battle the boredom. Everyone has it, i suggest you look for the free online multiplayer shooting game : enemy territory, its a free online version based on return to caslte wolfenstein, very fun.

just one note. being a member is 5 dollars a month, not 5 dollars a week. and its worth all your bucks!!
