How long did it take -you-?

I'm trying to get a general idea on how long it takes to be strong or skillful in RS, so I'm going to ask for other peoples experiences.

 

Like, do you play casually, or play alot?

 

Do you focus on specific goals, or just wander?

 

Did you have alot of fun with what you did?

 

When did you sign up?

 

And add anything you feel is significant.

well, im not sure what your asking, and i dont know if you think im strong and/or skill full, but i played very casually for about 2 years, but in the past 2 months or so ive played alot more, i used to wander, but now im more focused, such as 70 mining and full zammy, and i feel it is best to do what you like best, but get all your skills up to a good point, and wherever youre getting really bored, go train another skill(but dont switch too much b/c then youll nvr gain any high lvls.)

Most of the time I am on a crazy goal to make me filthy rich but I never finish it I guess a short attention spand isn't a good skill for runesc...

Yes, some times I get borad(sp?) and I don't feel like anything to do (In real life) so I log on runescape buy 1k ice bursts and freeze castle wars up :D

 

 

 

When did you sign up?

 

For runescape? When I saw it on google. For members I waited until I first had some one to pay for it and second when I felt my f2p skills were decent enough that I wouldn't have to focuse too much on them in p2p for quests, training combact and training other skills.

but im lvl 90 f2p with 1k total lvls, i have a santa, pumpkin and like 2 mil

 

-ive played since 2004 summer, but made my current acc. 2005 summer, so ive played like almost 2 years now to get where i am

 

 

 

once i went a few montsh without playing, total averaged gameplay, id say 40 minutes a day over my 2 years(i once had a 2 month break, and another time i played like 10 hours a day for a week, it all varies)

Doing as manny quests as possible (->completed until a new one comes out)

Quests are fu, but I also cursed a lot. (like haunted mine: I killed the boss, but he had thrown an axe which killed me; I luckely didn't lost a lot, but I had to telly (ectophial) and walk back all the way (using the myreque passage))

I started F2P somewhere oktober-november

 

I switched to P2P somewhere arround january

To me, the definition of being skillful is that you posses a lot of knowledge about the game, practically knowing about anything related to the game.

I used to play around 4hours a day and since i went to (don't know english name, but the school you go to after your around 13 years old)i play around 2 hours a day (this is 1 year now)

I change goals all the time, most of my goals have to do with quests. My biggest goal was 76fish+80cooking from 60 both because i wanted to use sharks in quests. I know those are not very high lvls.

Well i hated my fishing goal (stupid me used lobsters...), but on most other things i had a bit fun because i changed much, and most of the time im just fooling around with friends.

I think about 3 years ago trough miniclip (maybe 3 maybe 2 realy don't know, think 3.)

Now my question: what makes one skillfull? For me skillfull means just not being annoying and willing to do smal favours if it's asked nice. So you can get skillfull in 3 seconds.
