April 29, 200719 yr Apparently, a driver carrying tons of tons of gasoline crashed into a concrete pylon, setting part of the bridge aflame with fire over 200 feet. Now, I don't have much information on it, but it would help if you could post any you have. My dad was looking at it and thinks it's a terrorist attack. What do you think? Discuss about this interesting orange hot big thingy. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/04/.....index.html Credit to Harrington, you know, the post below me -,-
April 29, 200719 yr Before I read the article, I thought the bridge itself collasped... :uhh: But dang, that was a major blow in the traffic system. It's going to take triple as long to get across the bay now. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
May 1, 200719 yr My dad was looking at it and thinks it's a terrorist attack. Um... quite frankly, your dad is an idiot. 1. Truck tips over. 2. Oil being carried in truck catches fire. (Burns at 3000 degrees.) 3. Steel supports for bridge melt, causing bridge to collapse. 4. Nobody died. One person (the truck driver) was injured. How is that terrorism? You only have to type four extra keys for me to not think "ur" an idiot.solardeathray.teensupergenius.com

May 1, 200719 yr I had to take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit, the local train line) to get my passport because of that. Speaking of which, I saw a sexual offender get arrested on BART on the way home. I do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! Just keep it under 5 sentences, and PM me to use my fluency in Japanese to your advantage!
